Zapper? Sell through Amazon or trade in there? I've used both, they don't pay much but it's easy to do. Or CS would be good I think if you can afford to take the loss. It's surprising what they can sell! Good luck

I've not heard of zapper thanks, will look into that.
I could also do with using music magpie...Bossymoo

Hi all
So I have, ahem, a few books. Well, more than a few. A few boxes perhaps.
So, once I've sorted out my favourites, what do I do with the rest?
The skinflint in me thinks I ought to try make some money. But with two toddlers, I'm not likely to do a carboot sale any time soon, so are there any other worthwhile options? Or do I bite the bullet, and give them to a charity shop? Are hardback ones easy to sell? Paperbacks not so good?
Ta for any advice
G
I have listed some of mine on greenmetropolis but you don't make much money. It is worth searching to see if they have the same books that you have already listed as if they haven't there is more chance that you might get someone buy. It is not a speedy method though. I usually leave mine on there for about 1-2 months then if they don't sell by then, I donate to the charity shop. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

When I wanted to get rid of my hardback books in very good condition, none of the paying sites were accepting them. I just decided to ditch them as I know people like my SiL use their local CS as a substitute library. She buys the cheap books, reads them, returns them and buys some more. I think she may stop this though as the book prices have shot up. Sad really because they are depriving themselves of money in the long run.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

A week of and all Ive done is spend, spend spend, However there is a CS bag to be filled and DD has filled a large bag with old clothes.
I have 8 cdroms to declutter to shed
another file for recycling and some library books to return.
DS has packed the upstairs landing with his decluttering so I will sort that out.0
