  • wow thank you. I guess i feel guilty as folk have spent time/effort and money on these things. At the end of the day though, I'm still young and if I keep this up I'll have nowhere to put anything else! I think I'll keep a few special ones, eg from my 21st and recycle the rest. Otherwise I'll end up carting them around my whole life. Maybe I'll start looking at my stuff with a "would I pay to store this?" attitude. It might help!
  • Two coats and a scarf out to the charity shop today. I think that's the wardrobe well and truly emptied now. I'm making an effort to wear everything in there now as there are some lovely clothes that haven't seen the light of day in years, purely because I forgot that they existed.

Well as expected today was not a big hit on the decluttering front:rotfl:, however I did manage

    17. Plastic recycling to bin
    18. One kitchen cupboard decluttered.
    19. One letter to postbox.
    20. Paperwork decluttered to filling cabinet.
    21. Empty jam jars decluttered to shed.

However the corner I cleared in the kitchen yesterday is still clear:eek:, and now that I can see what a difference it makes I feel more spurred on IYKWIM.

Have lots ending on ebay tomorrow with bids so that should boost my total for the end of the week, but for now I declare

    Ditch 100 in February 21/100

  • Just found two more old scarves and a hat in a quick two minute tidy up. All for the charity shop (how many scarves does one person need! I blame primark, as when I used to go shopping as a hobby, if there was nothing else I like I'd just buy myself a scarf or two "to accessorise").
  • Not an out but was nearly!! By that I mean OH polished of a bar of Galaxy earlier and before recycling the wrapper noticed they are doing a competition thingy where you type the code from the wrapper and it tells you if youve won. I won yay!!! A £15 book voucher which I'm very excited about as Sophie Kinsella (my favourite author) has just released a new book :T:jYAY I never win anything!

I'm not logging this month's decluttering but I'm still reading and taking advice from this Forum. It's helping me decide when I'm not sure whether to keep something. You're all doing so well!
