I have a woman coming to pick up my unused £9 holiday coupons and the shredder is on! The tip bag and charity shop bags are getting filled too!

Bye bye old bank statements, why do I even still have you!

Another 9 ebay parcels posted today - which included 31 items in them! (One was a job lots of little cross stitch kits and a few others had a couple of things in them too - espeically grateful to the person who wone 3 lots!) So 40 things out including the packaging materials.

Relisted the 2 things I was happy to do at 99p and then found 3 more lots of stuff to list. Then OH (who was photographing stuff for me) asked me to put 2 more things on so have 7 active listings in total.

Feel like I'm making some progress now as 2 of those big Tesco Jute bags of parcels have now left the house this week so far!

Scramble for the wool on freecycle too - so that'll go soon too!

1 - bottle of nail varnish used as much as I can - bin
2 - box of fancy dress bits from musical group that were in garage - gone via freecycle
3 - Christmas cards from last year into recycling (I keep them for a year then recycle all but the ones we've sent each other)
4 - unwanted Christmas sweets - into work.
    5 - Loch fyne voucher - spent
    6 - Shredding - recycling
    7 - OH's paperwork recycled/shredded - recycling
    8 - receipts shredded - recycling
    9 - 17 ebay sales
    18 - 24 - jiffy bags - sent with ebay items
    25-55 ebay sales
56-64 jiffy bags etc - sent with ebay items

34 school trousers - school for spares
off to try harder as feel Im letting you all down

As Him Indoors said this morning, with regard to our joint housekeeping account: " it's only halfway through the month".
Obviously he said it with a  rather than a :D.
So you've got loads of time till 31st January: would it be worth trying to complete a small area so you have the satisfaction of a finished job? Whatever works for you!

  • Another 4 flat pillows out, along with 2 chipped mugs, a glass that has a weird mark on it I can't get out (odd anyway), 5 broaches in CS bag and a carrier of stuff to be gifted today. Not bag considering I only had a little time this morning to get it done :D

    54. Old rotten fruit – chucked
    55. 30 old books – collected by Zapper courier

I'm not one for chucking out food, but I found some rotten fruit at the bottom of my fruit bowl and there was nothing else but to chuck it!

Hardly a very busy decluttering day, but never mind!

Well a little bit more out for me

    28. 1 very mouldy melon from fridge into compost.
    29. 1 wooden pirate boat donated to work.
    30. 1 book returned to it's rightful owner.
    31. Starbucks coffee (came with a gift box with cups and will not use it) - regifted to a friend at work.

Get really depressed during the week when work and running around comes between me and the decluttering:rotfl:, roll on the weekend.

Various clothes and shoes sorted into bags to go, but do not count them until they actually leave the house.

Ive got shot of the kitchen door... I think they call it open plan :rotfl:

That is serious decluttering! Are you going to take any more of the house apart or was it just the door that was making the place look untidy? :rotfl::rotfl:

I've sold a camera and George Foreman grill at work today and the bin men took the microwave so I think I'm up to 29 now. Just off to update my sig. Happy decluttering all :)
