Anti-P used up, so £1 in the pot.

got half a can of don't-like-the-smell-of-it (forgot the name, think it begins with an 'E') anti-p lurking in the cupboard - will use it up if poss (ugh, really disagreeable smell) before I cave in and buy some more do-like-the-smell-of-it dove, sure or nivea anti-p (depending on what is on special offer!)

Would love to join too, my downfalls are:

Cafes, no popping it to cafe's 3 or 4 times a week unless I'm meeting friends there (this happens maybe twice a month)

No buying treats/magazines for the kids, they have more than enough

Cutting right back on buying and eating chocolate

    Good luck everyone!

Looks like everyone is doing really well. I've done pretty good.

Took the kids out for Mcdonalds on Friday after we'd been at the park late, so a failure on the first one.

Haven't bought any mags or treats for the kids.

Haven't bought any chocolate as far as I can remember, won't comment on eating it though :rotfl:

Welcome aboard WelshDreamer - all the best with your challenge and let us know how you get on with it! Take it day by day, or even hour by hour

And onto alibob - not too bad for the first week or 2. Carry on with what you're doing and the changes will kick in at some point - good luck!

  • Scotmum I shocked myself by finding a whole drawer of Yankee Candle samplers and wax tarts over Christmas when I was trying to find somewhere to store the ones I'd just bought for this year!!! I must remember not to buy anymore next Winter!

i love smelly candles too, but really am trying to not buy anymore: a) I have loads already and b) in an effort to be a true MSEer I don't have money to burn (literally!) anymore... Easier said than done, though, isn't it!? So far I've managed to keep away from places where I know they seel the stuff and I've ignored any TC sales online. So far so good.

You've inspired me now to burn some of these things, rather than just keep them shut up!!!
