Don't worry cats. You'll get there in the end and it is quite hard at first. I used to feel just like you explained. Plus I nearly caved in yesterday to a reduced moisturiser and exfoliator. Managed to stay strong in the end which was a relief!

In a moment of weakness I did give my daughter £1.99 to put towards a toy she's wanted for the last 6 months. In hindsight I think it was more the acquiring on her part than a true want. The toy has not been played with since she received it. Must be assertive in future. I've also eaten some chocolate. My parents had some chocolate liquers that nobody wanted and they were going in the bin. Now I love chocolate and hate waste so I ate them. However, my once waistline is crying out no more, and hopefully I will not face temptation again until my birthday next month. By then I hope I will find them not so alluring as I won't have so much of a sweet tooth.
On a positive note, I did look at books and magazines this weekend but I did not succumb, and I haven't bought any cola.

Well done Rachel - not too bad really. It takes some time for it to kick into the changes for good and you're already thinking about what to do differently next time.

I nearly caved in yesterday to a set of skincare on qvc but didn't and stayed strong instead. A couple of years ago I would have bought it without a second thought about whether I could afford it or not. And today I nearly caved in to a facial cleanser so I thought about the large tube I'm currently using and how there is still a third left in it and the thought made me stay strong and switch over the the football instead and take myself out of the temptation

It worked and I didn't buy anything and I stayed strong!

    RESULT!
So c'mon girls, let's regain our space and take joy in using up what we already have - DO WE NEED IT? NO!
