I won't be able to say that until September 2018 :D.

Suddenly, September 2018 doesn't sound anywhere near as far away as it did, does it? Huge progress, huge congratulations on what you've achieved so far.

Ooh, another pom pom waver, excellent! You and Honey should get together for a photo-session. I've been thinking I need an Avator and that would make a great one :rotfl:.

To be specific, This is what I mean by pompom waving. Anyone who wants to join me in learning how to do the poi thing is more than welcome! Posing comes later.

So.... two days into Suptember and going strong.

    Well done!

Finances Spent £3 on a cream cake for Miss Happy on Tuesday, when she came home upset and exhausted after her first day at school (teacher training, not pupil!), worried that she's not up to it. I didn't partake of the cream cake :Abut she really needed to comfort-eat that day. Yesterday was much better apparently and she's looking forward to today. Yay! Wednesday's only spent was when Mr Happy spent £17 on tap parts. It means that hot water now comes out of every tap except the bath, but at least the bath taps look normal now and no-one ever used it anyway. We're all showerers, so I don't care if it never gets mended. No other spends.

Excellent reasons to spend imho, Happy. Miss Happy clearly needed the cream cake and look what magic it has wrought. And at least your bath taps look the part - I find I can live with things not actually working for a while as long as I don't have to think about them. Living in a hardwater area is murder on plumbing.

MyFitnessPal. Loving it and keeping within the calories. 1459 on Tuesday and 1563 yesterday. I think it's all in the planning. I'm trying to make it healthy as well as low-calorie so getting my five a day F & V is built-in.

Fantastic achivement, managing 5xF&V and sticking to such a tight calorie count. I couldn't, so good on you.

*Holds up recipe* I swear, by almighty MSE Martin, that I will not divulge the secrets of The Hobnob to Happy during Suptember.
    Better is good enough.

    • No computer after 9.00pm. No computer after 7.15 pm yesterday, so that's an achivement in itself. (Can't resist Mahjong Titans and The Archers. It's a bit like boiled eggs with soldiers, it just has to be done.)
    • Lights out by 11.30pm. Just. 11.28 to be precise, but only because OH switched his out. I'd have read on otherwise.
    • Five fruit and veg a day. Dates (sorry Happy, but they're a great blood sugar boost first thing), tomatoes, onion, courgette, mushroom, avacado
    • 15 minutes flying a day, sticking to the new schedule: Monday: Dusting/dewebbing; Tuesday: Kitchen; Wednesday: Floors; Thursday: Bath/shower room; Friday: Windows/Paintwork. Carp. Total failure. I thought about it but just couldn't bring myself to spend any time on either the kitchen or, to be more specific, the shower room, which was what I'd intended. I'll do a penance of 30 minutes today.
    • Drink two glasses of water a day, on top of the 4 fruit teas and at least a pot of decaff coffee. I stood over the bathroom sink at 11.15pm and forced those two puppies down. Yuk.
Without this challenge, I wouldn't have done any of those bits I did yesterday, so Suptember is working it's magic already.
    Better is good enough.

Wow, that's amazing but a bit ambitious for me, I think I would get my pompoms all tangled up :).

Double fault there, Happy. Just because they're fruit coloured doesn't meant $mart!es count as all of your 5 F&V a day, plus which you've now resorted to hiding litter. Not sure how the Flyladies would deal with such intransigence. *must not tell tales, no-one likes a telltale* 'Cooee, Flyldies ... guess what Happy's done now .... '

    • No computer after 9.00pm. No computer after 2.15 pm yesterday!
    • Lights out by 11.30pm. Fail. An unfortunate series of events - spilled AF celebratory drink, mopping up, not doing things in the right order, chatting with occasional lodger for far longer than we meant to, etc etc meant that I missed that target by 15 mins. As a result I am thoroughly out of sorts today.
    • Five fruit and veg a day. Dates, M&S salady thing, asparagus, radishes ... er, that's it.
    • 15 minutes flying a day, sticking to the new schedule: Monday: Dusting/dewebbing; Tuesday: Kitchen; Wednesday: Floors; Thursday: Bath/shower room; Friday: Windows/Paintwork. Shower scrubbed this mornig, first layer of oven gunk given a chemcial peel, plus a bit of the shelving and the door cleaned this morning so I don't feel I've let myself down. I'll tackle my office window in a minute because I'm sick of having to dodge my head around to see out of it. All the muck's on the inisde too, so goodness knows how long it is since it last saw a bit of vinegar. One of our randomly regular scientists is going to be in here for a fortnight from the 14th, so the whole room has to be sparkly. *despair*
    • Drink two glasses of water a day, on top of the 4 fruit teas and at least a pot of decaff coffee. Still having to force them down. Can't say I feel any better for it, but it's going to go on until the end of the month to see if dehydration is the problem once and for all.

    • No computer after 9.00pm. Purely because this is back on my list, I switched it off at about 5 to 9 last night.
    • Lights out by 11.30pm. Fail I think. Stayed up to watch the Last Last Leg of the series, and then faffed about and then read.
    • Five fruit and veg a day. Dates, aprictos, asparagus, peas, home made tomato and red pepper soup.
    • 15 minutes flying a day, sticking to the new schedule: Monday: Dusting/dewebbing; Tuesday: Kitchen; Wednesday: Floors; Thursday: Bath/shower room; Friday: Windows/Paintwork. Phew. Caught up, by doing to the window.
    • Drink two glasses of water a day, on top of the 4 fruit teas and at least a pot of decaff coffee. Couldn't force the second one down last night. I am defo not dehydrated.
    Better is good enough.

Ouchie. I hope it was essential stuff he spent it on? I recommend getting online access for all credit cards and checking it every day, then there are no shocks when the bill comes, and if you need a mid-month growl at OH you can do it before the spending builds up. But on the scale of things, another couple of months getting debt free isn't the end of the world :)

:rotfl::rotfl:I think there are lots of things the Flyladies would want a word with me about! My plans to follow your flying regime came to a dead halt before they even started. My excuse of the day is that we've started decorating the bathroom, so it's not MY fault the whole house is in chaos. It might be totally IMMACULATE if it wasn't for that :D

Most of our windows are filthy, inside and out. It's on my list for this week. I rarely follow my list.
