 SEE YOU IN SUPTEMBER

A pretty accurate picture of what's going on. How did you know?

Well done on the moisturizing, Dolphin, and *scary* about the dream, Happy. I used to have scary being-chased dreams when I was child but because they always ended with me being able to fly away from the danger I loved them. Can't fly anymore.

    Update for yesterday...

    1) None eaten.
    2) Meal plan for week done.
    3) £10 in nephews birthday card as budgeted.
    4) Face & neck moisturised :).

PS And if I came across a Daim bar, I'd scoff it instantly and I wouldn't rule out theft, either if anyone leaves one lying around. I can't be trusted around them. Like hobnobs. Another batch in the oven yesterday, and three scoffed while I was cooking dinner and washing up. *feeling fat*

Really not keen on Daim bars, OH likes them though.

I have just finished making my first two batches of gluten free scones (made plenty with gluten in the past), one lot of plain scones and one lot of cheese scones. Trying to wait until OH comes home before trying them. I hope they aren't a complete disaster.

I know that feeling. I am back on myfitnesspal and counting those calories and I am being good, but its a bit tough going. I'm desperate to bake (and eat). At least if I bake chocolate stuff I won't be tempted as I'm not keen on that. There are two large bags of Daim miniatures in my cupboard right now - DS1 loves them but has apparently forgotten they are there.

A few mins back in the oven and they'll perk up - warm scones are never a disaster. GF flour can be trickier than the regular stuff but its divine for making vic sponge as long as its eaten up quickly.

Thanks Joey, I think I'll do that. If they don't last long, does that mean all of the scones will have to be eaten today :)? Just kidding, I'm going to freeze some and then when I want one I can just defrost it and give it a quick blast in the oven.

And don't tell but I couldn't resist a cheese scone before OH got home and it was lovely :).

'Have you got to the weird concoction stage yet? I seem to remember the last time we emptied the freezer (I think we were moving house) OH had breaded fish with leftover chilli :)'
Fish and chilli - now there's resourceful :D . Nothing as exciting as that left in ours. I'm down to the bottom couple of drawers and it's mainly more frozen chips plus stuff that we don't like and I can't ever remember buying or making.

The red daim bars (and miniatures) ARE lovely, but the Cadbury chocolate bar with daim pieces are even better. I'm going to try posting a photo now for the first time ever.

Yay! Not only did my photo work, but the description tells me that the £1 bars only weigh 120g too, not 200 like I thought. *feeling smug*
