    Update for yesterday...

    1) We had the leftover dessert and cream from Friday.
    2) Meal plan for the week done and shopping delivered.
    3) No spends on other people.
    4) Face and neck moisturised with the help of my OH. That sounds a bit weird so I guess I should explain. My OH knows about my targets on here so when I told him I had been reprimanded for not moisturising, he switched my laptop off there and then and made me go and do it :(. He is always nagging me to put hand cream on too because my hands are ridiculously dry.

Not as tedious as getting wrinkly! Generally I do force myself to moisturise and have done for years. I still have some wrinkles but at least I feel justified in moaning about them! Mainly though I just prefer the way my skin feels with cream on - it's all dry and tight if I don't bother which is quite an incentive.

I hate that dry and tight feeling too so I know I need to persevere and make this a habit.

When I read your post I thought about trying Tosco's own brand beans, but I've decided not to because they're dearer, so I want to carry on loving the Value ones :D

On the contrary, perhaps I should be giving the value ones a try.

Good for OH! I have really dry hands too. When I was a little girl I used to enjoy pinching the skin on my grandma's hands, loving how it didn't spring straight back to shape. Mine's started to do that now. I think it's partly age and partly spending too many years outside in all weathers, messing with horses :(. Hand cream does help though.

    Targets for yesterday and today:
    • Eat healthily. Average. Tomorrow will be better because I've already scoffed all the chocolate. Although it's Monday which means O2 Priority Pizza! :o
    • Money saving. Mr H has done some DIY on a few rotting window frames and the bits cost £31 from B & Q. They're all filled and repainted so they look like new and will last another few years. Other than that and petrol, no spends
    • Freezer emptying None done today because we're munching on fresh stuff from yesterday's supermarket trip. Plus chocolate.
    • Alcohol I considered not telling the truth here......:D!! But yes, I gave in and opened the final bottle of wine :o:o. Whoopsie! It's because I don't want to go back to work tomorrow after a week off. Comfort boozing. The worst/best part is, there's still half a bottle left so I'm going to fail tomorrow and Tuesday too!
    • Sleep I woke up at 4am this morning for no good reason at all, so I'm going straight to bed now, but my alarm clock is set for 5:40 am ready for work :(

Struggling to keep up this month. Will post properly later, but suffice to say - doing carp this month.

'Rah rah!' (Cheering you on from the sidelines.)
    Better is good enough.

This might be a bit daft, and you may even be doing it already (not that I'm calling you daft you understand), have you tried putting the pot/tube/whatever on your bedside table rather than in the bathroom. Then its just there looking at you when you get into bed?

No, not daft at all, I have some hand cream on my bedside table for that exact reason :). The problem is that I am always too knackered to put it on when I go to bed along with the rest of my bedtime routine. Maybe I need to set an alarm during the day to remind me to do it.
