Hi Scarlett
Great name, Gone With The Wind is one of my favourite films.
I owed a similar amount to you this time last year but now owe £0. This site is great for borrowing other peoples ideas and for motivation as well.
Good Luck xxxx0 -

It can be tough, in the past I've had books on there months without selling. The fees are quite high but its much much less hassle than ebay.As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -
Hi There
I've also rejoined under a new name, just for a fresh start
Best of luck with your debt busting, I've never used Music Magpie, maybe I should give it a try as I have loads of CDs/DVDs I never use now
Welcome back  and thanks
Its really easy to use - you only really get 30p a piece for most things - the odd one is worth a bit more. They pay postage to them though so all the money they pay is yours to keep. They pay in cash too. Will report back on how it goes as this is my first time

Great news, well done on paying off all your debts - any magic secrets or just knuckle down and get on with it? It is really motivating and friendly - I love MSE!As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. Don't think I will spend anything else today now so can report in for the day.
Money in:
£38 from Amazon sale once fees and postage are paid
a topcashback Amazon voucher of £5.50 that I wont pay towards anything yet - will save it until I need something else and then pay the cash instead.
Money out:
Supermarket £29.77 - few bits I needed and some healthy fresh stuff to try and pep me up a bit to get back into cooking. Will plan later to make sure it gets used up. I could have spent less here but I desperately need to get some fresh food and variety back in my diet rather than pulling junk out of the cupboard.
Nail supply store £12.20 - I know this looks frivolous but I have to have pristine nails for my business and mine are horribly stained so I had to get some stuff to bleach them. Being good I only got what was absolutely necessary though - previously I would have spent double that and more in lotions and potions and polishes. Also stocked up on acetone so have no reason now to go back for a loooong time hopefully.
Bit of a pamper session due this evening once all the jobs are done. Hope everyone else has had a good DFW day xAs God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -
Why dont you join some of the challanges? x
Theres quite a few around the board x0 -
Woo hoo!!!! Your in the 12k bracket already!

lol all so positive!
I will look at some challenges - spoilt for choice at the moment. Maybe an OS challenge first as I know I waste loads on food that doesn't get eaten and buying lunches/snacks at work.As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. First successful home cooked from scratch meal in longer than I care to remember. Chicken wraps with home made salsa. Lots left over which will hopefully work tomorrow as leftovers.
Sadly there was half a lime leftover and the only recipe I know for half a lime is a mojito. Will take one for the 'no waste' team

Feeling a little zingy with the vitamin boost so going for a nice relaxing bath.As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -
Forgot to add - have sent back a pair of trousers today that were ok and a real bargain but I dont really need them. Will also be taking another pair of trousers back to Sainsburys tomorrow too - I hadn't paid for the catalogue ones but the Sainsburys ones will hopefully give me another £15 into the pot. They were supposed to be for something nice to wear on Xmas day but since that never happened I have no excuse to keep them
