Tomorrow is another day - Scarlett's Debt Free Diary

3rd was a quiet day spend wise - only £1.05 on a tub of reduced cream and made my own butter/scones from buttermilk. In my spare time I'm a domestic goddess  Not a thin one but the baking is good

today - £5.20 at work
for lunch and some pop
£100 about to hit the bank for cashing in premium bonds so set up a payment to pay that off the Baby Barclaycard.
Hope you are all having good days
As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -
Just reading my loan agreement (I know, its a real cliffhanger :rotfl:) and I get 10% of my interest paid back when it matures as long as I dont pay it off early. Should be £100 or so to come in July then :j. I did the maths - there is only about £20 or interest left on it so its not worth trying to pay it off any sooner. As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. £15 spent today on food and a biggest loser club subscription (go fat fighters!) and needed petrol so another £67  still it should last a while. Fun and games with my Amazon sale. Apparently the person bought the wrong item and want me to refund them. If I do that though I'll be out of pocket for the additional postage I paid in the first place and the costs of sending it back to me all for their mistake. I checked the T&Cs first and thought I was OK saying no but now the person says they are complaining to Amazon about me. Wish I'd never bothered

Sorry - I know I'm ranting but I can see Amazon forcing me to give a refund and me being down about a tenner - if the person even bothers to send the goods back.
Not much else to report today. May have to go and have some cake and a bath to cheer myself up. Making biggest loser club entirely pointless for today. Going now before I get any more miserable - be back in a better mood (hopefully!) tomorrow. As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. Hi Scarlett, did you watch the biggest loser? I love that programme. I also watched Fat Fighters, one of the trainers (with the mohican) was a real hottie
It normally quite motivates me - but there is just sooooo much chocolate in the house I cannot help myself. It seems i have no willpower at all
I think cake and a bath sounds bloomin lovely
Just keep swimming!0 -

UK and US versions
After that I couldnt justify fat fighters but it did look good. May have to look out for fat fighters next week. As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -

I haven't sold before on Amazon but I have returned an item and I had to pay the return post even though it was faulty. So I know your still one lot of postage down its better than 2? Also don't refund until you have the item back with you xx0 -
Thanks, I've heard back its not as bad as I thought. I have to refund if they want but can cover all my costs in the process so I wont be out of pocket. Phew! Bit gutted if they do decide to return but at least it wont end up costing me. Think I'll stick to trade ins after this :O Thankfully most of the stuff that had any value and isn't nailed down is already traded :rotfl:
In more good news I forgot - got a bottle of champers from work today as a gift
:j:beer::dance:_party_:grouphug:
Fatclub tracker wont be too impressed, and I'm sure its lying to me about the sponge cake calories but hey its free :cool:As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0 -

Good thanks, glad its the weekend, how are you today?
Did well at work - only on the hook for £2.50 all day then went to the shop on the way home for some bread flour and yeast and came home £20 poorer with no flour or yeast. Damn you craft supermarkets and your evil marketing genius. Still I got some nice looking fruit that [STRIKE]might [/STRIKE] better had do me some good. Back for round II for the things I actually need tomorrow
Oh and had to pay for the Osteo so £37 but will get most of that back so £10 it will cost me really.
Not the most bargainous of days but barring todays slip I haven't done too much unexpected damage to the bank balance
