Their advice was bancruptcy but they accepted it wasn't what I wanted to do. I wouldn't recomend it as at that amount my debts wont be paid till 2075 and thats if the bank freezes the intrest. But its a temporary situation untill I get my finances under control and more money coming in."You are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts" - Arthur Schlesinger

You know I think we may have stumbled into that age old trap here folks, agitating a troll. that username tenroom reminded me last night of someone that came on the boards last summer just to antagonise posters in the DFW board. Now obviously it was months back so I can't be sure. The fact that this poster has followed the OP back from the Mortgage boards to continue to wind people up and anyone making the least attempt to help, be it 'softly softly' or harshly makes me wonder...
Might be best to stave this thread of oxygen and perhaps it will save some hurt feelings. I don't think there's anything you could possibly say Beetlebug1983 that would stop them from replying to try and wind you up. It's what they're banking on.
Just agree with whatever they say, thereby making their comments irrelevant, and in the mean time, take note of what more serious people have advised, do the sums for the very worst possible case scenario (no matter who can do what for you at mate's rates, don't ever rely on it!) and if it doesn't add up, don't fiddle it, just don't do it!1st LBM (Pre-Career Change): 01 March 2006 Debt Free Date: 28 April 2008 | Worst Debt: £7244.36

I am a member on a wedding path website (got married last year) and we had some horrid trolls on there last year who basically just wanted to sneer at us all for having the audacity to be happy we were getting married and they ended up really upsetting and insulting one of the girls and subsequently all apologised when they realised how devastated she was that they had slagged off her deceased mother - some people just go too far!!!! Lets hope this is an end to this thread before it all as all good mothers say 'ends in tears'!!!!0 -

I'm only too happy to knock this thread on the head but I would like to point out that I never followed BB around the boards to maintain any onslaught. There was a link to this thread from the original thread in Mortgages and Endowments which I followed not even knowing that she'd been complaining about being slated.
I'm as keen to dispense informed advice as the next guy knowing a thing or two about mortgages, debt, bailiff modus operandi and credit reference systems.0 -
