It sounds like a 'teach-granny-to-suck-eggs' type programme, might watch it just so I have an excuse to ask the husband to cook the dinner (as I shall be watching a 'very important programme that will save us money'! hehehe)
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Well I'm watching it now, and this family are on another planet!
Don't think much of the "expert" woman chucking out all the instant potato packets etc. either - okay wean them onto home-made food, but don't waste stuff they've already paid for  .
Just goes to show how some folk live - I keep going tut tut and  .I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I'm sorry but who can take a woman who dresses like that seriously
I was so looking forward to this but to my mind nothing was accomplished or proved to this family. They just felt hard done by, didn't see the point of anything and were obviously going to go straight back to their bad habits.
I was trying to think of that programme that was on in the day time where at least the family were working towards a goal in trying to save and earn extra cash but the name of it is beyond me?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Sounds like I didn't miss much thenSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0

The daytime programme someone mentioned was Money spinners. Average show but for the stroppy teenagers, they were great.
I agree the programme tonight was a let down. Couple and family that live in a big house with land and orchard whinging about money. No thanks. Only programme I really liked was bank of mum and dad.

Oh! I wish Pink-winged, I am not very brave but it would take someone far more scary than her to make me give up.:oWomen and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)
