OK finally had chance to regroup after the weekend (got home from work yesterday and slept on the sofa for almost 6 hours!)

Overall it was pretty bloody fantastic, knackering but fantastic.

Looking around the flat I have got rid of another 22 books, which which I have a nice £10 note to put in to the bank, and 4 dvds for which I recived £5, at some point over the weekend the postie brought me the mutual points cheque so thats another £20 destined for my credit card payment.

The bloke an I are going for lunch today then I have three mystery shops to get done, and as I've not been in town much at all lately I have ensured my phone is fully charged so I can get as many quidco checkins as possible whilst I'm out.

Don't need to buy much just a few little bits for tea as after my sofasleepathon yesterday afternoon I didn't want a proper tea so just had a plate of curly oven chips and chances are I'll be having a big lunch today too.

  • So you're settled on the idea of going back ooop North, then? Seems like a good plan - and you've been thinking about it on and off for a long time.

Go on flower, you know it makes sense...we even had some sunshine today ...come Scuba, come back, it's lovely Oop North

Thanks guys I know its the right thing to do for me now or I'd still be looking for ways to stay here!

Of course I now just need to deal with packing this place up while I live here with nowhere to pack boxes and put them out of the way like I did with the house.

I really need to change my hayfever tablets again, even though the ones I take are non drowsy I seem to be feeling tired/groggy for a couple of hours after taking them, but there are only a few left in the packet so will use these up then look for another own brand one to replace them.

Status check re Quidco checkins - I think I managed to get all the local ones within 3 hours yesterday and if my maths is right should be paid £2.90 on the next pay run. :D

Used a quiet 10 mins at work this evening to check the new Click Snap app, Snap and Save and Shopitize for things worth picking up while I was in the shop this evening doing a product placement audit. All being well I spent £15 and should be getting £3 back from the three.

Still waiting to hear about what I need to do with the product buyback stuff, the sooner I find out the better as I want my living room floor back!!

I also spent £4 in poundland on vaccum bags to start packing away things like my spare bedding after my friend visits later this month (she was coming this week but I've not heard anything so guess she's delayed it).

Assorted shopping cashback applied for shopitize and TCB are showing as approved, just waiting on the quidco ones.

Sat on the sofa writing up a mystery shop from this morning and eating Yum Garlic and Herb soft cheese, its very tasty but I decided to put some ham on it to balance out the flavour as it was quite strong for my liking.

Took some rubbish out earlier and picked up the post on my way passed, I've been sent some vouchers by Sainsbugs to be used over the next 4 weeks £4 off a £20 for weeks 1 and 3, and 6p off a litre of fuel for weeks 2 and 4 if I spend £20 instore, from memory I have £30 of sains vouchers in my voucher folder so might go and do some stocking up in week 2 so as the car will need some fuel by then.

Also just realised I've reached the threshold for redemption at Valued Opinions, so have requested another £10 sains voucher from them too.

My current sole active ebay listing also has a bid on it, it's only 99p but I was given the item by a work colleague originially so it's all profit after I've posted it.

Can't sleep and the bloke is currently busy snoring in my bed, so snuggled up on the sofa with Mr Ray and Nemo getting some quotes for my car insurance as it's due for renewal next month, problem is I can't remember if I have 6 or 7 years NCD (assuming I don't make a claim this month!). But getting quotes based on my current address with 6 years is turning up quotes of around £250, will do some more quotes in a few weeks at my other email address based on my parents addresses and hope one of the three cheap quotes I currently have saved is cheap for both areas overall.

Ebay item sold for a little more than I expected thanks to a last second bidder :D Said bidder also paid immediately so I've packed up the item and weighed it with my kitchen scales - looks like the package will go as a large letter so I don't need to go to the PO to send it. :D:D

Ebay sale is in the post box, dropped it off in passing on my way to work this morning.

Even better is that item 2 which I only listed Thursday evening has 1 bidder and three watchers already, madness as its only a small aquarium ornament, but fingers crossed it gets a few more bids as I'll appreciate the money.

Need to sling some more listings on there this weekend as its a FLW, but have no real motivation and am shattered, so might just have a wee nap for now, while I wait for a friend to let me know if shes in town to meet up for a coffee and do some listing this evening while I kill time before my late night mystery shop. :)

    Erm whoops.

Someone told me that the Disney store had a sale on.

They then told me that the 80cm Bruce I've wanted for ages was in the sale.

I may have spent an additional £22 to get free delivery.

And then had to phone my mum to warn her than the parcel is being delivered to her house. :D

So £52 in total, on the credit card, I figure that as I've already made my payment this month I'll put any extra on to it as it arrives and put a little more effort in to ebay selling.
