Washing in to try out the new powder.
Half of the 69p pack of veggies I picked up in Mr S's earlier are chopped and lobbed in to the slow cooker with some veg stock in an attempt to make a soup - purposely making this one bland as I intend to find some spices to liven it up as I eat it, but forgot to look while I was in the shop earlier. So will blend an freeze it tomorrow.
Think I need to go and buy two cheap squarish bins to fit in a cupboard under the sink as I'm fed up of falling over bin bags on the floor or having to move carrier bags of rubbish from cupboard handles - because of the layout of the kitchen the only place to put a bin elsewhere is right next to the radiator which is so impractical - esp as we have two different sets of council provided bin bags, recycling and general waste and a pair of food caddys one internal and one external which all go out on different days. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Logged in to my email earlier to discover that yoursaypays has paid me so have requested the money to my bank account from paypal. So I would recommend them, since they do pay albeit that they don't send surveys all the time but when they do come they tend to come in twos and threes. So I updated my survey payments file and have popped it in here so I can keep track.

Happy day - sort of, logged in to my interweb banking to discover that the money from paypal is showing in one account and the money being returned from the flat deposit is showing in the other, need to wait a couple of weeks to check we're not going to get any more bills to cover out of the joint account then I can clear almost 50% of my outstanding credit card balance, after which I'm confident of seeing the time to pay it off reducing fairly quickly. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

As far as we can remember its just the new 'leccy bill of £80 and the new council tax bill of roughly £400 (to the end of march) still to pay - in an ideal world the rebate on the ct from the old place will arrive in the bank before the new ct is due as they're roughly the same amount if not I'll be juggling the deposit money in to the joint account and refusing point blank to pay anything in to it from my salary this month (I paid Jan's ct for the old place as the pet is a moron and didn't send off the paper work until 4 weeks after I handed it to him to sign and post) which was £130, so assuming I have to then pay the new ct too thats near enough equal to my total monthly contribution. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Light bulb has blown in the kitchen apparently nowhere sells a F36w/830 from an actual shop locally...I really don't want to have to order online and wait for delivery though. Everywhere seems to only have the F36w/1200 onesIt’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Tonight I am mostly looking forward to not having to get out of bed before 9am, and then a walk to the nearest 'high street' area for a pub lunch with the pet before work.
Been looking at my transport options for work, I don't think getting the train is going to be practical given my shifts are near enough 50/50 earlies and lates now and I will not ever be on a train before 6am for anyone or any reason! But there is a local footpath which is suitable and more importantly open to cyclists which runs from about a mile from the house to about a quarter of a mile from work, the total distance is just under 9 miles which is a little further than the road distance but far safer given the roads are dual carriageways. So when the nights are lighter again that could be a good option, of course it does mean I need to spend some time on my days off out on the bike getting used to cycling again, and it means I wouldnt need to run as often. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Had a nice mooch around town this afternoon after work, did one mystery shop then walked back to work to pick up my car and come home. Having a nice lazy tea thanks to the lack of light in the kitchen (still).
Got a couple of mystery shops to do tomorrow but with a fairly wide gap in the time frames so am planning to go to the cinema mid afternoon between them, just don't know what I'm going to watch, planning to go see Warhorse with the boy later on in the week so can't really watch that - plus I think it'll be too long. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Written up my mystery shop and spent some time finishing my current book on the Kindle. Once that one was finished I went right back to page 508/508 and have deleted ten or twenty ebooks - doesn't sound much but some were cook books and some american style 'self help' things, plus a smattering of comics and the odd one I've got in paperback and have read in that format since I downloaded the ebook. When I finish the ebook I just started I'll go back and see if I can delete any more since I almost certainly can't get all of the books I've downloaded read possibly ever but I'll give it a bloomin good go.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Had quite a nice afternoon after I did the mystery shops just doing nothing for almost 3 hours in Guildford library, well I say doing nothing, I booked myself on to a pc for an hour and wrote up the mystery shops to the point of adding the reciept details then found myself a chair and read the Kindle for a couple of hours.
I have to say I was quite shocked by the apparent snobbery of some of the other library users though. The number of people who were either sat near me or walked past and either muttered about the Kindle or gave me dirty looks was incredible. I did however find a nice big craft section which has loads of cross stitching books for when I want more information or ideas. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
