Tired....been at the silly amounts of overtime thing again this week. Still got my payslip for the end of Dec/most of Jan and although it looks rather confusing it is a nice enough number at the end of it to be paid in a few days at which point I can make another decent size payment to the credit card.

Paid £500 earlier this week, which I'm waiting to be taken from my bank account and credited to the card, slightly annoyed that I wasn't able to pay more off but the new council tax had to be paid before we got the rebate from the old one - I'll be reducing my payment to the joint account by that much this time around so that I can pay the rest off the credit card.

Done some mystery shops this week too around the overtime. I need now however to start getting on with my studying, since I have assignments due in 2 and 3 weks respectively.

Yup I keep thinking I need to do some too - I decided earlier that I'd rather go for a run than study, so 3 miles later I'm home and stretching off before showering and heading back to work....

The boy is on biffleave for a week or so now so he's been tasked with sorting the kitchen light since we still have no bulb, the lights in the living room of which 50% have blown this week and installing the new printer to my lappy so I can remote print my assignment paperwork (thus it will be his fault when I'm behind and not knowing what the heck am meant to be doing). There are other things I plan to tell him need doing but I don't want to overload the brain with too many instructions incase he loses the bit that reminds him to keep breathing.

Right shower time before I get accused of stinking the house up, or being unhygienic at work.

    Still needs to start studying....

Luckily tomorrows plans involve walking to a post office, a run of at least 3 miles (prob the same route as Saturday), and then I guess I need to start getting on with the study stuff, instead of going shopping which is what I really want to do, but 2 days before payday I have roughly £40 left in the bank.

So I *have* to at the very least log in and download as much of the paperwork as I can so I know what to concentrate most on while I'm note taking.

Posted the book - £2.16 for a book I sold for £3 *sigh* still its one less book in the house and it's a good I got for free so I suppose is a profit of 84p. Will be a few days before I can request the money out of my account to the bank but in the mean time I've moved the postage cost from my ms float account.

Also spent the best part of £10 on fresh food for dinner tonight, think we're having burritos, the boy wants to have nachos too but I suspect if I do both we won't eat it all so am only going to cook the one. Plus while we still have no light in the kitchen I cba with the faffing around in the dark!

Just finished a survey on opinionoutpost which took me above the 50 point threshold so now have an extra £2.50 in my paypal account, debating leaving it in there for spending or withdrawing it as a small extra payment off the credit card. Am also impatiently awaiting my salary arriving in the bank.

Salary landed and thrown around in to other bank accounts for spending. I still have around £400 in the account so am planning to book my car in for a service hopefully next week, that way I can be reasonably confident of getting through the MOT in march without too many expensive issues (particularly once the not very reliable horn is fixed).

I also have the deep joy of having been sent paperwork from the DVLA about renewing my photocard driving licence too. So that'll be £80 on a new passport and £20 on the licence. At least those are done with then for the next 10 years I suppose. :/

A few more precious points added to various survey accounts and some nice shiney extra overtime hours clocked up this week too.

Am desperately hoping that the predicted snow decides to skip this area as I really don't fancy driving to work at silly am if it has done!

Urgh I really hate early shifts - I get home and just want to sleep, which leads to me making silly errors when cooking tea....like forgetting to defrost the veggies, and then putting twice as much water in to the gravy closely followed by forgetting to drain the veggies when dishing up - most of which could be avoided if the pet idiot went out and bought a light bulb for the kitchen!

Some more survey points added and the snow while it landed Friday night is rapidly melting, yet the locals seem to think the world has ended.
