Happy new year and happy new diary hun, hope this is a good one, and hope pet human gets on okay in the sandy place. My dad's advice to FOH used to be "keep yer head down son and yer a$$ further down!"

Oooh a kindle, DD1 has decided she wants one for her birthday, but I should really get one first to make sure that she will be able to copy with one lol x

Meh he'll be fine, and if he's not he can go stay with his mum until the end of the tour - no time or space for him to be pathetic here. ;)

He still gets no sympathy from me over the wound he got last time out (the year before we met but he still bleats about it and occasionally is very inconsiderate in having a restless night claiming it hurts).

Been over to the old place to start cleaning, half of the oven is scrubbed, forgot to pick up the wire racks which need bringing here for a good scrub in hot water as we've turned off the boiler there, and half the living room carpet has been treated with stain removers plus most of the dusting in the spareroom and bedroom. Not working tomorrow although if I remember right I do have my first mystery shop of the year so while I'm out and about I'll probably go in and do a bit more and pick up the racks.

Went in to town to get some cleaning things and 'accidentally' fell in to La Senza, £7.50 later I have £50 worth of underwear, another t-shirt bra (£2.50!! should have been £30) and two pairs of knickers for £2 and £3 (should have both been £10). Still need some more undies but can pick odd bits up here and there in the sales.

Managed to have another night of no sleep so did my second tiny cross stitch kit and read a few short ebooks - the Kindle seems to have jumped up to over 5000 titles so am def in need of getting stuck in to them!

Just finished a survey on yoursaypays, and reached their £20 threashold so have requested the money in to my paypal account - never cashed out with them before and can't find anything about them on here so am a little bit wary still but given I found them around 18 months ago I don't think it's taken an unreasonable period of time to earn the money so will stick with them once I'm paid - they do have a ref scheme but I don't ever recommend a survey site until its paid me so will be nice to have a new one to recommend to my friends who also do these things.

Need to go out for a run and then walk to the shops for some more milk, am tempted to find my small rucksack and run to the shop and back but it's further than I normally run and am feeling the lack of sleep - I did doze off for a couple of hours this morning but was woken by the postie, the bin men and the asda grocery delivery - which reminds me I also need to decide what we're having for dinner. Am thinking pasta bake if I've a sauce jar in the cupboard so might see if I can pick up some veggies at the shop (in which case running might not be the worlds best plan ever.

Walked to the shop and back - according to mapmyrun I walked 153 miles in 44 mins....me thinks I need to redraw the map somewhat! The redrawn map tells me it was a 2.8 mile walk there and back, which seems far more reasonable.

153 miles in 44 mins, definately a world record you should be proud ;)

I've never really go into the habit with survey sites, so let me know how you get on. It's something I need to get on with.

Hope you've had a good day

I'm pretty good about keeping up with them once I join until I decide if they're worth keeping or not, luckily I'm a patient person so don't mind waiting for payouts or surveys to arrive, plus given the number of sites I am a member of I tend to find that I get to a redemption threshold on at least one fairly often.

Actually it might be time for me to do a round up of the sites I'm using and where I'm at with them as it's been a while since I checked up on them all.

I know none of them are particularly close to paying out other than one which I can claim myself a gift voucher on but am utterly undecided about what voucher to get - supermarket one, clothes shop one to treat myself or take a chance on a coffee shop chain voucher to use while I'm mystery shopping....
