My kids/family love buffets eat as much as you like home kind ofthings, loads of friends and family around, help yourself, except if you turn around it has gone, whoosh, so now what I do is 'plate up' mine and sometimes OH and we actually get what we want and let them tuck in, that way it is not a mad scramble and no one feels hard done by, the tin should have been distrubuted(sp) fairly, we have actually done that (because one son eats only that colour etc) so we make it fairer by given everyone the chance to choice not just one person, then whenever we can eat them or save them for later whatever but we know that whoever has the fastest hands will not win:rotfl::rotfl:

I actually got 2 strawberries this time. Because I demanded them.


Normally I find the whole punnet (or 2) of strawberries, blackberries and raspberries have been eaten in one go. And she gets a bollocking about being selfish every time.


She can eat chocolate until she hurls as far as I'm concerned (I don't like it), but she prefers to eat the fruit first and then stuff the chocolate.

Sorry but I'm getting teary eyed, now, i'm just overwhelmed by peoples kindness on here....

It's not about the chocolates, it's more that they didn't share, knowing we had nothing at xmas, that has upset me more....

Aaaaww that's rotten of them Goblin.

I once went nuts at my DB's (now ex thankfully) girlfriend because my mam had bought a tin of Roses, left them still sealed on the table for us all to share, and she had opened it up and taken all the purple ones out and eaten them for breakfast. :mad::eek: she did it out of spite because my mam told her to help herself to toast when she got up one morning, and she didn't like it because mam wouldn't make her any.
I turned up later in the day and mam offered me the tin to open and get a choccy and we found out she ate them because the tin was open she even put the tape and wrappers back in the tin. :eek:
I'd have whacked her over the head with the lid if my brother hadn't have stopped me :rotfl:. He wouldn't talk to me for a week because I told her off for being so greedy. I can laugh about it now, but there was no need to be so greedy and selfish, especially when it came to my favourites lol.

It is very selfish, I agree. No-one can do that in my house because I am alone for Christmas, as I am all the time. so I don't have to share anything.
I really have got far too much chocolate in the house and really can't eat it all, so please pm me your address and I will send you some, you would be doing me a favour.
