I'd have whacked her over the head with the lid if my brother hadn't have stopped me :rotfl:. He wouldn't talk to me for a week because I told her off for being so greedy. I can laugh about it now, but there was no need to be so greedy and selfish, especially when it came to my favourites lol.

LOL!!!! That's extreme but funny lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I agree dontone it's the selfish bit that winds me up the most!

They didn't even leave the wrappers in the tin, at the very least i could of licked them! :rotfl:

    Family couldn't afford them:(
  • Behaviours at this time of year often can leave a bitter taste in the mouth, even for trivial, seemingly unimportant things like this.

I feel for you. This time of year is about gestures, no matter how big or small - and what we give. However, it's horrible to sit there at Christmas and think you've been forgotten by those you love.

You sound hurt, and I really sympathise. Maybe there were some positives you can take from the day, though. If so, try to focus on those. When the small negatives mount up; they really do leave you empty. Trust me, I know. :(

Thank you OneWickedSon, you are right, i am hurt, and yes they mount up...

I do know, believe me, this is why i get upset about trivial things...

I will take note of the positives, that being the kindness shown by people on MSE.

    Thank you x

Christmas shouldn't be about presents anyway

Too many people get hung up about what they get and who's got what, who got the 'best' etc

Christmas is about being with family and showing appreciation for the ones you love and maybe sparing a thought for those worse off than us cos there are millions of them!

I do wish you would let me send you some chocs as my 4rse really doesn't need any more! :D
