:DSalt & Vinegar every time, but it has to be Tesco own brand... somehow they manage to make them twice as strong:D'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

Heh, agreed - these were the best of the choices there!
Now, don't hate me Martin, but I mainly like the "poncy" crisps you're writing off! The Sensations Lime and Corriander ones are

Favourite Walkers has to be S&V unless making a crisp sandwich where Prawn Cocktail wins every time.
"Real Crisps" are favourable over Walkers though, but Cheese & Onion wind hands down. But....
The bestest crisps ever have to be these

Salt and Vinegar are great dipped into lager. My favourite salt and vinegars are Seabrooks, the crinkle cuts mmm.
Cheese and onion are always the last left in the multi packs at our house.
Unfortunately all out of range for me at the moment on my low fat diet :rolleyes:0 -
salt and vinegar but they have to be so strong they make your eyes water and your mouth pucker up as if you've just sucked a lemon and you dont get many of those anymore
other than that those strange puff things crisps that look like little pillows

salt and vinegar hands down winners in this house every time , if i buy multi packs of mixed flavours they always leave the cheese and onion

OMG - what were they called?
They were gorgeous.
When I was little we only had ready salted so we used to put vinegar in them. I got used to soggy crisps :rotfl:
Walkers cheese & onion ARE the best 'proper crisps' but pickled onion monster munch are luverly too.
EDIT - were they simply 'potao puffs'? They were nice in salt and vinegar
*wanders of for a packet of walkers cheese and onion & contemplates charging them to MSE towers for making me NEED them*Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Although I personally think Cheese n Onion crisps to be the rankest, foulest flavour combination in the world, ever invented... I don't wish for them to be withdrawn from the market. It would be unfair to those loons who actually like em (;))
No, instead I want to know why EVERY multipack of crisps, so it seems, contains a selection of Cheese-orinetated snacks as though the entire world would have a good reason to use them for something other than eating should they dislike them...!?!
Methink - and with no factual basis - that these type of crisps are soooo cheap to manufacturer that they just chuck em in with any old combination to increase their profits.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but who cares! lol
They taste like they're cheap to make too!
Nuff said! That window's cracked on both sides!!0 -
