Well, Im adding another £20 to my total, had to get dog food ( she was being greedy the last few days and eating waaay more than usual!) needed potatoes from the local shop, few other bits and bobs.....

Up to £178.79 from my £250 challange, not bad, but I know Ive missed out things cos my brain is like a sieve sometimes lol!!

I will declare £178.79/£250 for January though :T:rotfl:

Will throw myself into Feb with more gusto and better planning!!
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Hello all, I'm not declaring for this month as it has not been at all typical. As some of you may know, my DH Bill died of bronchopneumonia on 7th January. Our fantastic family and I are beginning to get back to normal a bit now, but as you can imagine, spending has been all over the place.

So I'll be back on track for February.

Well done everyone else on January efforts.

So sorry to hear the news. Lots of Hugs to you and your family

Winchelsea sorry for your loss sending hugs your way

I have cheated today and spent 65p from my sealed pot challange as i didnt want to break into a £10 i much prefer notes left over to coins :D. I shall be cheating tomorrow as well (well not really) i need some bread/milk and mushrooms tomorrow and have £10 left from this weeks GB (£20 has gone into the bulk buy purse :Ttaking it upto £55) and my feb budget starts on weds so i will also be buying for Feb tomorrow as i have managed to get a lift to Ald* so by buying tomorrow i will save on transport (dad is now on his ship heading towards Norway so i have lost him as my free taxi driver). Tea tonight is meatballs from the freezer with some grated cheese (from freezer possibly over a year old but seems ok :rotfl:). chicken curry ( lo chicken from sun)and rice for tomorrow possibly with nann bread.
