  • morning all :)
got a few things to report. NSD friday and sunday. 2 small spends on saturday. i sent hubby up to lidl to stock up on mince and tinned toms. they only had quorn mince on offer so was a little disappointed but only a 99p spend on the chopped tomatoes. i popped into morrisons saturday in my lunch break to take advantage of the offer on youngs f/fingers. buy 1 get 2 free. so £3.99 for 60 f/fingers. iceland has previously been the best place to buy them at £3 for 30.

friday we went through the cupboards and freezers and made a meal planner until the 7th feb! so am feeling super organised. have a good mixture of slow cooker meals, roasts and quick fixes so it can swapped around when the unexpected arises.

got a tesco order arriving this evening stocked up on cat food. whiskers and felix 2 for£5. Approx £55 inc delivery gonna update late when i have the final cost.

fingers crossed this means bread/ milk/ fresh fruit and veg will be all thats needed, so lots of NSD planned :)

Big thanks to everyone for keeping me on the straight and narrow and all the tips and bargains. keep them coming

Afternoon all went shopping for a few items today promised myself no more than £10 but went over budget by £2.67 , not too fussed tho as managed to get 600 grms of corned beef for £3.27 (worked out cheaper to buy sliced instead of tinned) 12 philly dips (£2.00) 12 cheese strings (£1) 12 yogurts (60p) box cereal(80p) juice (80p) 2 rustlers burgers (£1)(snacks for dad)and 2x hobnob bars (£1.20) oh and also 2x 8 packs of polos for £2. Bargain of the day was a pair of curtains and a new double quilt set for DS for £8.99(not GC budget but still a super bargain). Now have £20 left of GB which will go into my purse as i have jiggeled the budgets about slightly i only like notes in my bulk buy purse :rotfl:, have £7 odd to put into my tin but have no spare cash left it sort of gets confusing when trying to write it down/explain it but i know what i mean lol. New week starts on weds and i dont need anything else till then so am declaring this week at £41.50/£60

    Morning

Still trying to catch up but I thought it was time to admit how I'm doing!

Spent £7.27 today on bread, milk, cucumber, Co*p wup liquid (2 for £1.20) and the Tetl*y T-bags they have on offer - 160 for £2.04 (I keep buying these!)
Total is now £96.59 and today I'm going to make a plan for a week using as much stuff that's already here as possible and do an online shop. T*sco have sent me another of their 'do 3 shops for over £50 each before 26/2 and we'll give you an extra 1000 points' emails so I'll probably do that now As*a don't give you a fiver anymore when you spend £40.

    Hope January's going well!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
  • Hi folks
Shopping today. Mr M - not that great and dissapointed at the lack of offers. Spent £18.02. But had to go to Lidl and then the co-op as Mr M did not have everything I needed, plus I knew eggs would be cheaper in Lidl.

Went well in co-op - I deliberatley didn't get my philli cheese from Mr M as I had forgotten to take a £1 off voucher along. After I went home and got it I went to co-op and they were on offer for £1.00 so i got it for free:j:j. On the downside, noticed that Mozarella cheese was only 49p in Lidl and Milk was only £1. I had bought these in Mr M for 60 p and £1.18:(. Still need to count up total. Wil post back later.
