Victoria Plumb customer services are a waste of time

I'm having to complain here because Victoria Plumb have not responded to any of my complaints.
I purchased some bathroom furniture and we got a txt the day before it was due to be delivered saying that it would arrive between 0700 and 1053. As we were not living at the delivery address we got there ready before 0700 as chances are it would arrive early if we didn't. We waited 4 hours and then got a call saying it would be late, but they would call in the next hour to give a new time. We waited, nothing, so I called Victoria plumb who didn't know any thing about the call, and said they would find out and call back, they didn't. We waited another 2 hours and called again, they said they were on to it and would call back, they didn't. Then by this point it was getting late and we had been held up in our house all day waiting for the delivery, we called again and asked for our money back on the the delivery (which was on top of the purchase). The women at Victoria Plumb made 2 mistakes:
1. They stated it wasn't their fault as it was the delivery companies mistake. That doesn't matter to me, Victoria Plumb contracted the work to them and therefore its their problem not mine.
2. Insisted on talking over me as I tried to state my point of view, stupid error 'Sam'.
I've since sent 2 emails to them requested a delivery refund, and heard nothing. The goods did arrive 12 hours later than stated, and were thankfully in good condition. Otherwise tyring to get any kind of feedback would have been impossible. They never actually called me to tell me what was going on with the delivery even though I asked them to promise they would. They have never responded to my emails. The staff at customer services are rude.
Go elsewhere, don't bother with them!

And I'll stand by it, in this climate, a bit of decent customer service is the fine line between staying in business or being on the streets.
I am feeling better though, I've just brought a load of stuff from one of there competitors.0 -
You are entitled to your opinion but opinions expressed as a result of or during a rant are likely to be taken with a pinch of salt as has already been evinced.
Pleased you are now feeling better

Perhaps such a review is best posted to one of the online review sites, such as ReviewCentre. They build up so many user reviews, that it is possible to work out which companies have a problem, and which excel. I bought my kitchen on the basis of reviews on that site, and my experience matched the reviews there.
Personally I don't see the problem with a rant against a company, although one rant in isolation does not say that much, except that one person had a bad experience, and all companies have a bad day, or a bad employee. There is another forum here where you can 'vent':
