Try looking for a headphone socket on the tv and use this to get the audio to the gaming chair.

You will probably need a 3.5mm to 2 phono plug cable. I have seen these in Poundland (for £1).

you should have cables that connect the chair to tv that came with the chair.Do you know model of tv?
my son has one and it connects to the side of tv

    Compatibility - Other:

    TV’s (Tube, flatscreen, 3-D)
X-Rocker Gaming Chairs are compatible with all TV’s. There are various options to connect to your TV, though it depends on what connectors your TV has:
    • RCA / Headphone Jack: if your TV has either of these then it’s a simple matter of plugging in the X-Rocker Gaming Chair leads into one of these.
    • NO RCA/ Headphone Jacks on your TV: if this is the case you will need to connect you X-Rocker Gaming Chair to another intermediate device. If your TV has a Scart output, you can purchase a Scart to RCA plug (sorry, we don’t sell them), and plug your Gaming Chair into that,
    • or you can connect your TV to an amp (which connects to external speakers, and needs to have RCA / headphone jack to work) and connect your Gaming Chair to the amp.

You can use an adaptor for Scart to RCA (like this one ... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3692603 )

Certainly the LG has 2 Scart sockets (taken from the Richer Sounds website), and it is highly likely that the evotel also has at least one scart as well.

However, does your grandson want to connect straight to the TV, or to a games console or DVD player ?

Well, I have looked on the LG website, and it seems that you can only connect to an extenal sound system with a digital optical connection - that your Gaming Chair won't have !
