Adapter identification

Options
Hi,

I found this when having a clear out and I'm not sure what it's for.

The round ports are labelled [from left to right] video, audio (l), audio (r).

Can someone help me identify it's use?

Thanks

Its a SCART to video/audio adaptor. Most usually used for getting output from a camcorder or similar on to your TV/VCR.

The yellow is "Composite" video and the red & white are audio.
It's generally the lowest quality (as in screen resolution or display clarity) of the video connectors.

You can also use these with the Wii, Xbox and PS3 consoles, if you don't have sufficient HDMI or other connections to your TV, or if you still have an older analogue TV.
