  • this is the problem i checked my area with 3s coverage check and it says outdoors will be fine but inside i may struggle to get a signal which is why i would prefer to stay with 02 as the signal at home is very good

still not sure i want to spend so much on a fancy phone as the samsung galaxy s2 and htc sensation xe look very good too

I agree that it is the wildfires fault, it was sold as an iPhone but on the cheap, but worse was it was sold on over priced contracts when there were better spec cheaper android handsets out at the time (orange SF), I remember actively telling people to stay away from the wildfire, I can only wonder how many people now wish they hadn't got the widfire now)

have you thought about something like the xperia mini http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/mobile-phones/SONY-ERIC-XPERIA-MINI/HANDSET it is a modern android handset with good internals (unlike the wildfire when that came out) and it will be updated to the new android OS (ice cream sandwich) next year, there is no reason to buy a £500+ phone when depending on your needs something like this will suit you nicely.
  • i got my wildfire fairly cheap last year, dont really like that sony phone i want something with a fairly big screen on like a samsung galazy s2 or htc sensation xe but not too big

    the iphone 4s on 02 is £169 upfront and £32 a month for 24months
on 3 the iphone 4s is £129 upfront and £30 a month for 24months (with 5000 texts instead of 02 limit of 3000)

so i will ask 02 if they can match the deal , worth a try
  • well i have now got the android assistant and tried to clear up the system but it still runs slow and lags, i cant delete the messages in my inbox as it just crashes

Wildfire/S has very little memory and thus it becomes sluggish after few months.

Just do a hard reset (make a backup of your only relevant data if required) and it should be faster again.

But you have to repeat this every few months.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.
