    Xmas Saver!
    1. Reviews - I intend to do 29 reviews, theres 29 days this Feb, so good number to aim for, go for DY then transfer to Chow, if I can the hang of that.

Sorry if this sounds a daft question, is there an easy way to see whos rated you on chow, or is go into each review and then go for there?

    2. Site - looney and Global TM. They both feel like an eternity. but concentrating on 2, stand a chance!

    3. Coupons etc - At the mo there going in the Lapland fund.... there few and far between, but every penny helps! My depoist been money neutral ebay/car boots / surveys etc. Just need the rest!!

    4. Def agree with a Valentines treat, love to say I'll take a long hot bath plenty of bubbles, and read the sackfull of valentine cards that the postman has brought me!
one snag - we dont have a bath!! ok 2 - I can dream about the sack full of cards.

Its on half term week - going to have a hr with a book, and hopefully I can claim my skybox back!!

This is quite funny, how things come along, watching TV earlier, and they had th portable toilets that look like tardis's Miss Hoodie pipes up, i used one of them and they hadn't got a light... so funny, mum pipes up and they haven't got a mirror either.

Yrs ago, my 29th bday!! my best mate then he batted the other direction, we'd gone away together, and were going grey-hound racing, neither of us had been before and as it was at newton abbot racecourse, thought be posh event, I had a trouser suit, he had suit on, - got there it was the flapping, basically like time trials, - everyone was in jeans + tshirts, so we stuck out like a sore thumb, I was driving, so sober, he'd had a couple of drinks, (stopped pub 1st), he wants the loo, not knowing the layout, thought be by the bar, as the bar was like a shed, got there and they were the portable toilets - big queue, his turn, - he comes out, top of his voice he says, Chez theres no mirror in there...... !! tonight I did 2 x dy reviews, and I put about these items, and wrote and there was no mirror in there. Weird how twice in oneday the same event comes back to haunt u.!

off to bed... sweet dreams xxx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Morning All,

Gosh it's chilly here, any snow your way?

Was really surprised logged into to chow and my balance is already £1.50, can't believe it. Have only done 2 reviews and have a handful of rates on each. Promise I will do rates as soon as I am able, just tried to rate some of you and still says am not allowed.

Does it show a breakdown anywhere to show where I actually made the money?

Mum2one, quick question about lapland, have you actually booked? We are thinking of going in a few years when Tabi is able to appreciate it. Have started a small savings fund already so won't be too much of a hit at the time. Who are you going with? Have you gone for a package with excursions thrown in? You will have to fill me in when you get back x

Boat girl - it does show you, but it doesn't really make any sense. Just keep going and seeing your balance go up. :) Well done on the reviewing. I'll add you to the DooU list later (I've got to go on school run now, so if I forget, please remind me). Hopeing to rate later so I'll be around to give some tips. :)

MumtoOne - In your account, if you click on the review you want, and scroll down, you can see everyone who's rated that review. Just click on their username or photo to rate them back.

Cornish - great idea turning the comp off on the 14th BUT we don't want you to be lonely or upset like Christmas. Don't do any moneymaking but come on here to chat to us instead. :)

Rufus - 5 reviews in a day. My God - I want some of what you've been having. ;) Sorry to hear about the heater. I hope it manages to get sorted soon.

Toonie - I really feel for you. It's hard knowing what to do for the best. DD1 had her school knocked down, and new one built when she was in year 11 - what a stupid time. It was so dispruptive to her GCSE's. DD2's is being knocked down next year, so she'll only be in the new one for one school year, (should have been two put it's all been delayed). At least both of mine stayed at the same school (sort of), and they haven't had to start all over again.

Savvy - Happy Moving Day. I hope it all goes well. I'll be thinking of you. TOP TIP. Pack the kettle and stuff last, so they are first off at the other end. You'll def need a cuppa after all that hard work.

Haven't time to reply to everyone sorry - Nicky, I can do the Tolun@ list if you like. You've got your hands full at the moment. I can add a doc to the FB group then so everyone can see. In fact, I'll do it anyway with us oldies, so can anyone who isn't being followed by me on T pm me your username please? We can then all work around everyone's opinions and polls and boost our earnings. :D

Got to go, School run, Gym this morning, and then shopping then school run again, so see you all later this afternoon

    Me again. :)

I just remembered - last night on the Grabbit, I saw a Netflix deal for Quidco. Sign up to the free trial, and watch 5 hours worth of films, and they give you £15 cashback. Just remember to cancel in a couple of weeks, so you don't have to pay for next month.

So now you know why I didn't come on last night, I was watching a film - hey I was still money making. ;) hehe.

  • Well I made it on luny yesterday. :j Cashed out at long last. Just looked at my points now 84! Got a very long way to go now! Haha

Right as I always struggle with these challenges I will say I will do 10 reviews this month. I know it is small but if I double it I will just get too over whelmed. I promise they will be 10 high quality reviews!

Need to get OH to fix the printer so I can join in the discount and voucher part of the challenge. I have been waiting three weeks now!

It was my son’s fourth birthday on Wednesday and this weekend we are having a big party at the village hall for him 19 children so won’t be around this weekend or Monday as OH is off.

Bevally, sorry to hear about the heating. I know what you mean about being cold, I have a blanket over me too. Got a bloke coming lunchtime to see if he can see whats wrong with out heater but he said he doesnt hold much hope, will probs just be giving us an estimate for a new one.

Im doing lots of rating today as its too cold to go and do sewing upstairs with no heat up there at all.
  • morning all

sorry to hear of those with no heating. always happens when its the coldest. the best investment i made was a few yrs ago and that was a small fan heater. its fab for when im sitting on the pc because i can just put that on instead of the heating in the whole house.

wondering if someone can give me some advice on SP redeems?
im nearly at my 1st redeem wit SP, but have noticed that you get more money if you have $ instead of £. i live in S Wales, so will this be converted into £ if i choose $?

    Luv P
