Annie - I'm sure someone will be able to soon :) - we had to do it via a link in an email, but I deleted mine by mistake.

There's no rush - don't try and do it all at once, your head will explode. Just try and join one or two new sites a day. That's all.

Elysia - Thanks for the list, suprisingly there are loads on there I'm not a member of
Savvy - My local Next was rubbish too, everywhere I went in town for clothes seemed to have all the sizes other than 2-3  Fab news about the rebate!
Aspella - Thanks for the heads up about new videos on maxi, nearly got enough for a redeem now :D
Bunbun - Good job you said about S&S points, I've just checked but didnt receive them either

Hello to all the new newbies... again! :p

Does anyone want to refer me to elite shoping forum?

How is everyone filling in the spreadsheets with regards to how much is earned? Putting down every vouchers recieved or the amount each survey earns? I'm abit of a novice when it comes to spreadsheets!

I've not added any amounts to the spreadsheet yet but this is what I plan on doing.
Money & Vouchers page - put amount when I redeem or receive it.
Monthly Summary - put account balance at end of the month.
It would be too time consuming to put down amount earned for each survey, click or review. Quite a few of the sites use points which when you work out the monetary value can be demoralising.

I haven't been to the sales in fact I haven't been to a shop since before Christmas. I have no money so don't want to be tempted!

I used alot of my T points for 2 mag subscriptions for my brother and dad for Christmas. not sure how many I have left.

elysia I am going to send you a pm about the spreadsheet and list of survey sites. there seem to be loads I haven't signed up to!

    Wow page 10 already!
Hi all - sorry Ive been awol for a few days, I've been reading but on my phone so didn't want to type on the small keys lol!
How was everyone's Christmas - did you all like your Secret Santa gifts? Mine was lovely, a old shop style biscuit tin from Next - I saw it reduced in the sale tho :-/
I have just filled in the spreadsheet - can we include the Tesco vouchers on there?
S&S only credited me 1100 points this week too, but I agree with whoever said that if you scan 2 weeks they give you the points at the end of that time. We went to S today as had some vouchers to spend, I left OH to put shopping away and he didn't scan it - argh! Means a job for me tomorrow to make sure that we get our points!
I have counted up my Tesco vouchers and have £58 from last year to put into the 2012 pot, I'd forgotten I'd got them so that is a great bonus - think will use them to take family to Legoland in the summer. Waiting on payment for a product test, and with the market research group I did just before Christmas and ebay/facebook sales am actually starting 2012 about £200 up!
I successfully completed my £100 in 100 days for the Next sale challenge, I actually had £110 - and my spends came to £107!!! I have taken a couple of bits back today, so have £15 in the tin for next year already! I think I am going to go for £365 in 365 this time!

Spent yesterday sorting kids stuff and putting all new toys away, sorted their clothes and have a bundle for either ebay or fb. OH came home suffering from a stomach bug, and I think he has passed it on to me. I feel really off, but have to carry on!!!

Bought DS a new dvd player today - reduced from £50 to £30 and ordered my parents a laptop through Q which was reduced in the sales by £200 - they are well chuffed with it!

Not taking tree down til the weekend, we have guests on Friday so will leave til Sunday and then get straight!

Hi to all the newbies, welcome to the thread, Elysia and everyone are so friendly and helpful - if you have any questions however silly they might seem don't be afraid to ask

Savvy - that is great news on the tax refund hun. I bet you heaved a big sigh of relief! Make sure you have enough left over to buy yourself a nice bottle of wine xx

  • Hi, I'd like to join in as well please. I discovered Swagbucks just before Christmas and have £15 of Amaz0n vouchers on their way, for the first time ever I have had a bit of money to spend in the sales - some were gifts for me but I also had points from b00ts so we went to their sale in Manchester centre today, I was delighted to find 17 lovely gifts and in total the bill was £115 - £65 of which were paid in points so I have spent £50 in total so far. I had taken a list and bought specific gifts for people now if I've got this right I need to earn this £50 back through the various sites to make it money neutral? Even if I don't manage this it will still be a huge help for next year but I'm sure I will by reading the thread and pinching all your good ideas :rotfl: I'm trying to pay a huge amount of debt of this year so this thread will be essential to having a good Christmas as well.

I've included Tesco vouchers on the spreadsheet in the loyalty points section on the money & vouchers sheet.

Thanks Aspella - just about to post that. You beat me to it. :D You're filling in the spreadsheet exactly as I do it too, it's much easier that way.

Legend - Men.!!! Sit down and relax for the rest of the week, he soon notice when nothing is done. ;)

Sharron - that's it!!! You need to earn your £50 back. You can do that easily. You could even do it this month, if you stick to it. :)

Foxy - I'm sure I was credited 3,300 but if I haven't, I've got more points than I thought I did. Either way, I'm not complaining. I just hope you're all right now, as I'll be able to redeem again. :D
