Ooooooo would love to join you guys. I think I did start with you last year but then got side tracked as father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer (all clear now) and I was pregnant (high risk due to 3 previous miscarriages) and life took over. My gorgeous baby boy was born in May so all turned out ok.
As a result of the extra family and that I want to cut my hours at work and pay off more debt I really need to make next Christmas as money neutral as possible.
It's been interesting reading the first few pages and you guys seem so nice.
Hopefully will stick with you throughout the year.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Back from shopping and I managed to get some good bargains. I got 2 pairs of trousers and a few tops for DS in the Next sale, then got about 6 tops for just £2 each in the Asda sale, including some Star Wars one so the little man is very happy
. I didn't mind buying a few full price pairs of trousers after getting some good bargains.
I've decided to really focus on Maxi over the next week or so. I find I work best when I have one site as my focus and then dip into the others as and when I can. I had an email offer from Maxi today about a site called Bingocam. If you register on there they give you £5 free to play with. When you play the full £5 through you get 300 Maximiles, which I make as about £1 worth. I've already registered and it's all very quick and easy, and most importantly it doesn't ask for any credit card details. I've got a window open just playing through my free £5 so I'll let you all know if the 300 points get credited.
Savvy - that's fantastic news about getting the money paid back to you :j. Last year I realised I had been in the wrong tax code for 5 years. I wrote to them and they paid me back straight away - nearly £7000!! We were just buying our new house so it paid for our new kitchen.
Welcome to all the lovely newbies, nice to see so many people joining us. Don't worry about how quickly this thread seems to be moving, it's the same every January but it will slow down in a few weeks and will seem more manageable to keep up withMaking money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Wondering if any of you lovely people know how do you get into opinion people?0

Deb - they just mount up, I have £100's worth now. I think you do have two years or so to use them, but mine are only from this year anyway.
If you pm me your email address, I can send you the spreadsheet to keep a track of all your earnings. I'll pm you about the sites too - I'm just cooking tea so I'll do it in a short while Ok? We'll look after you - it seems hard at first, but you'll soon get into it.
Annie - have you already signed up? If you haven't could you let someone refer you? If you have already, it's a - inbetween opinion and people.co.ukI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hi Jammy xx I have just under £4 to go on Onepoll for a redeem and I redeemed at the beginning of the year. The last £4 seems to be taking forever as I get screened out a lot. I think I am coming into the dodgy area for surveys at the moment with YD being 16 now and not having any other kids at home. May be I should adopt one of my GKs.
Savvy, brilliant news about the Tax, so glad you can get your car done and a new oven too!! We need a new cooker, the door doesnt shut properly on our one so it takes longer for things to cook.
I was showing my Kindle case off on FB and my niece wanted one so I have been up and made her one as well. It was quicker to make than the last one so I will definitely have a go at some at the weekend. I am not sure whether I would be allowed to actually call it a Kindle case on the listing, might have to call it an E Reader case and then say in the description that it fits Kindle 3s.0 -
I save my tesco points all year and then use them for days out in the summer and then we book into a travelodge in a suitable area and it allows us to go further a field, if you look on your vouchers they have an expiration date but I think it is usually about 18 months worth so loads of time. I have £19.50 at home and will be getting about another £10 this pay out so not too bad just a shame my Grandma who I take shopping likes to shop at asda so I spend less in tesco now.
Managed 2 reviews today and another one of them got Es woohoo, stomach cramps keep coming and going and feel very tired but am hoping to get another on tonight if i can.
Whoever it was that said about refering to swagbucks you can refer me if you like if you pm me i'll send you my email. To get to Disneyland Florida 20160 -
