    Morning everyone else

No surveys to do this morning in my inbox. I dont mind though as we have a lot to do today. I am waiting for OH to get up then we are going up the town, I am hoping they might have something nice in New Look in the sales as I have a voucher from there. I also want to get my cards from Card Factory and some wrapping paper too ready for next year. Then when we get back we need to sort the house out for tomorrow as we have YD and her family coming for a late Christmas dinner as they havent even had their presents yet so will be like another Christmas day. Our table normally only fits 6 and there will be 8 of us so we need to try out the table and see if we can find some extra chairs from somewhere. Also want to get a bit of the dinner cooked ready for tomorrow save doing it all at once.

OH had email from O2 yesterday to say his new phone is out of stock so he has to wait until next week now which means I have to as well.

Thanks Rufus. Going to transfer my book reviews over now and also go for the £7 bonus as I have enough Games/Toys/Household reviews to transfer. Your help is much appreciated! Are you rufusdog there too?

  • Thanks for the good advice, rufus. I reckon I could write reviews having taken a look. Bearing in mind what Elysia said about starting slowly, could someone sort me out with a referral to toluna & dooU, & maybe chow?

Jamtart - just incase Rufus has gone out - Rufus is Harveydog over on Chow. Like she said, you don't actually get paid for posting the review on there, they pay you per rate. One way to earn extra money though, is to write as good as you can, and you will be rated E (Exceptional) - it's like a crown on DooU. When you have E's you go into the pot for a share of the PF (Premium fund) I've earned about £40 from it in one month, and chamichelle won about £80 - in one month alone, so it's really worth doing as well as you can. Formatting really helps, some people don't give E's unless you use it, as it's part of the rules.

Rufus - morning hun. I've been up early, but the surveys are coming through thick and fast this morning, so I've been doing that.

Stepmum - sometimes it helps to get things off your chest. Have a shout on here if you want. The running would be good for 'me' time too. You go for it hun. Paying off your credit cards is a great thing to aim for - YOU CAN DO IT.

Kayandy - you sound like you have everything sussed. I'm sure you don't need us. :A

Wellpreserved - come on hun. You started this last year. You can do it. Honestly. You find that people with young kids get screened out too. I've got a 20 yr old and an 8 yr old - you can bet your bottom dollar that they will want a teenager. :o Give it a go - you've got to be in it to win it. ;)

Cornish - I know, I know. I did try!!! If you think the thread is busy, you should see my pm box, it's smoking. I must have sent 100 spreadsheets yesterday, and that is underestimating and not exagerating. :A I'm at just over £72, and I only really wanted to get to £75, so with keeping up with this thread, I'm doing well to get one a day on. ;)

Heva - no more lurking from now on. :D Stick with us, and we'll have you all organised moneywise.

Naughty - congrats, you're going to have your hands full. Lovely though, they'll be more like friends than siblings. You really need to join in often. We can help you, and keep you motivated. Take you time to read through the first posts, and if you can ask someone to refer you to some sites that aren't available via TCB or QUidco, that would be lovely. :)

I'm about to send spreadsheets to everyone who's pm'd me now. Just be a couple of minutes.

Naughty - Stick around chick, these ladies are fab, I'm a single parent to one, can't imagine how hard it will be with 2 but focussing on money making really keeps me sane (most of the time!)

  • Good afternoon all, I had another lovely lie in and then even had breakfast made for me. I'm not sure what my husband feels guilty about but he can do it again if he keeps letting me have lie ins:rotfl:!! I think he's actually getting really worried about the inpending birth or c-section as he's been extra lovey-dovey since we went to the hospital yesterday.

Maxi - I managed to get over 1000 points on there yesterday after saying I was going to make it my focus! 150 was for a survey I actualy qualified for. Then all the rest was from watching the videos on there. I hadn't realised that you get points for watching any of the vids, I thought it was just those that said 'get 5 points' underneath them, so I have only ever watched those ones :o. I clicked on a different one by accident and realised it still worked so then spent a few hours gong through every video on there, 3 times of course :D. Some of them were giving 20 points each watch too, McDonalds and Adidas definitely were and I think a couple of others too.
I'm now at nearly 2000 points on Maxi, it took me about 6 months to get that far last year! I'm aiming for a £15 M+S voucher after Elysia mentioned it as that is much better value.
