  • lol @ caroline. there's a few cupcake designs I love them.

Has anyone who subscribed to cross-stitch card shop got their sewing box yet?? Was just thinking I had a letter ages ago saying it'd be here within 28 days - must dig it out and see what the date was.

Back from hol's :) Had a fab time. Just catching up on emails etc.

Chicky, I still haven't received mine either, also don't remember receiving a letter..erm. Did just receive my first issue though, really like it and tempted to subscribe the bonus gift is looking good. Already started the snowman kit :)

What I will say however is that I don't have the slightest inclination to sing we are walking in the air as I'm stitching. Seriously where did they get that idea from?

The only version we ever sing is the Irn Bru chrismas advert one hehe...

i've hunted and now can't find the letter. it defo said "within 30 days" i assumed from date of letter but it maybe meant from 1st issue.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • Just worked out on the calendar and I am aiming to have my afghan finished by the 30th November. This is all the stitching, backing and fringing done.

I posted a pic earlier of the wee name sampler I will have to finish in the meantime as well. This piece is for my cousin's friend who is having a new baby, she doesn't know what she is having yet so I have stitched the Pink one for the daughter she has at the minute and then depending on whether she has a boy or a girl I will either restitch the pink one, or buy the grey elephant one. So with finishing the pink one, and then stitching another one I think I will have to stitch like Louise to get the afghan done....lol....xx

Also stitched this wee lot in the last month...
This is for my Mum's neighbours son and his wife...Not sure whether to frame it and give as a late wedding present or keep for their first anniversary...

This is for my brother and his soon to be wife. Was surprised at how quick this was to stitch, took just over a week....

Heyo, just wondering if you can please link to the last 2 charts pls. I really like these two and have a wedding in october to do something for.

    Cheers

    Looking good Caroline78

Can I ask a question please? FOr any of you that have made magnets to either sell or give as gifts, how do you cover up the back of the stitching or do you just keep it as neat as possible. I am thinking of doing some small designs to sell at the craft fair.

    Thanks

    Emma

I like using brightly coloured felt backs especially for coasters and keyrings. You can also get the adhesive felt or use a bit of dbl sided tape.

Hi guys, thanks for the lovely comments about the puppy and BD :) She is settling in really well and our other dog who is blind is getting along with her :T She is no longer called Bella, her proper name is Tikaani (Tika for short) which means wolf in Alaskan/Eskimo.

She's soo cute. Bella is a lovely name - how about Tika Bella - said in cheesy sounding italian, hehe
  • Havent you all been busy while I have been AWOL. I havent don much over the last couple of months on the stitchy front. I have just been too busy with work and that. I have some A/L coming up so I will be getting back into it soon.

Lovely finished pictures, and some of the designs are coming along

Big hugs to those that need them
A big hello to all the newcomers

All this talk about HEAD's has made me look at the site and they still have a little sale on till the 4th of sept. Some of the designs are lovely.

    Quick question :

Does everyone get the emailed copy of the design or do you order the hardcopy?
