Both the moon goddess and father sun are charts Im trying to get hold of. I had ordered the bewitching cross stitch book of Ama$on which has both in but after several weeks they just got in touch saying there are problems with the stock so I had to cancel the order:( I am going to try and order it from somewhere else.

I am going to order the kreinkik thread and beads set from polstitches tomorrow ready for when I start her. But whilst on there I saw some other charts I have been trying to get hold of..........all too tempting:D

I got my copy of moon goddess in a magazine - think it was cross stitch collection. Typing this at work so can't say but will check when I get home and let you know what issue. The one I am looking for to complete the set is rose goddess. I am making up the set of moon goddess, green goddess, rose goddess and christmas goddess. I have charts for them all except rose. Not too keen on the father sun.

Good to see so many Alice in wonderland fans here. Some friends and I once spent a whole day dressed as the characters and enjoying ourselves with a mad hatters tea party and games( who says you have to act your age). The friend I am stitching it for has a love of the mad hatter, hence the choice of design.

Thanks for the good reviews of polstitches I will be placing an order soon.

I got all the yellow on my fan finished last night and started the leaves. Hopefully I will have the second fan completely finished by the end of the week and be able to start the last one.

Have a fab stitchy Wednesday everyone.

I thought I had the Rose one, but the only one I've got is the green one. Sorry.

I am making a start gridding up my fabric for Ladybird - won't use the pen again after the old McD experience. (The fabric is dyed, and I'd be devastated if it was spoiled). It's taking ages. Might be done by Christmas!

  • Can't believe I forgot to tell you all. Mum had a vanish (the stain remover) stick looked a bit like a deodrant stick! Any how I used it on my princess palace and it got out the marks that the grinding pen had left behind. Not sure where she got it from but will find out later. Not a single mark left on it now. Wahoo x

    Hi ladies.

On topic, no stitching done here yet this week, have been jigsaw puzzling instead.

Off topic. I know some of you have a cat or two so wanted to draw your attention to this deal posted elsewhere on the site incase you hadn't yet seen it https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3820137
Be aware the shelf edge labels might not have been updated yet instore. In my local the sel said £3.00 but that offer ended yesterday so I asked a staff member to check the price for me and the price had dropped to £1.74/£1.84 depending on which sort you buy.

The money you save on the cat food can now be spent on stitchy stuff :rotfl:

    Glad yours is sorted :)

Unfortunately when I washed mine, it took the blue dye out of the aida along with the blue pen :(
  • ohh Alice in Wonderland is FAB but I can see why you'd get frustrated with the tablecloth.

BOOFLE is coming on nicely (tho took a break last night to catch up on survey site e-mails (and claimed £10 leisure voucher and £6.50 paypal in the process) will try and post my progress pic tonight (unless I can remember my flikr log in while i'm at work).
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

I even have my own little Alice :rotfl: - DD went through an 'Alice' phase just over a year ago - I had to buy a second dress just so I could get the other one in the wash, she loved it so much lol

She was 3 at the time, Rapunzel is the favourite now lol (keep meaning to find a Rapunzel to stitch!)
