A Christmas ruined, vendor dropped dead before moving out - is it too late

the house doesnt have a driveway but that is a very good idea. There is a service road round the back of the garden so I guess we could borrow my uncle's caravan if we get desperate, but as we are going to be at my folks/her folks over Christmas, and hoping this gets sorted out, we shouldn't need to move out. But thanks for the idea.
Pond? Tesco bag? Not sure how this helps me unless it is an 'in' joke here. Anyway, the silver lining in this cloud is that instead of unpacking and getting henpecked by my fiancee, I get to watch TV at my folks (whilst my Dad is in his garage trying to rearrange my bits and pieces as I have blocked his beer fridge in)
oh yes :rotfl:Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

The short answer is to move in and dump all the furniture on the son next door....

The problem is, any other day of the year, I actully would, but imagine if you lost your mum just before Christmas and had someone clearing her house out on Xmas eve. Besides, the agent still has the key, though I think we may go round later to see him next door for a chat... maybe take a bottle of something as a sweetener?
I wish solicitors wouldnt close until Jan 3rd!0 -

There is no original thread. Why do people have to be so awkward. Why are you reporting my thread. I know it isnt saving money per se, maybe testamant to getting a proper high st conveyancer maybe, but I can't see the need to report it.
On a separate note, anyone know how to stop this dog from getting frisky with my sock? I wouldnt mind but my foot is still in it. Hoping for new socks tomorrow that haven't been rogered.0
