They would be better off recalling the stock to sell online, since there is so much instore, surely?

I'm taking some stuff back today too, so they'll have a bit more in my local near work - never much good for the 75% though as it's so tiny! :j

Means no-one will have the heads up on the 76% off sale from the online site this year too....we'll just have to wait for the first store the open to see....does anyone know if they put up the 75% off signs before closing the night before, or do the staff sneak in early that morning to keep us waiting till the very last! Not that I need anything, even if they gave it to me. :rotfl::rotfl:
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
  • Crayford Boots has 75% off the FCUK bags today so maybe they're going to do it bit by bit. Nothing else at the moment.

    Boots.com sale has ended
Due to unprecedented demand, Boots.com has now sold through all of our remaining sale stock. However, the half price sale is still continuing in our stores. Hurry, stock is selling out quickly.

St Albans Boots also had 75% off the FCUK bags, think they were £11.25 or so.......shelves and shelves of them!

  • 75% FCUK bags looks like it's nationwide. The perfume sets are being recalled so won't be going down any further, should be off of display by Tuesday apparently, so maybe 75% sale starts on Weds???

Picked up my store collection order and overall quite pleased with all the items (especially the No7 set for Mum's birthday!) but one. The trinket box was £3 half price, and frankly it's just a cardboard heart shaped box with a pattern on. I could have got a plain box and covered with paper and done a better job! Plus no packaging so black smudges all over the top and one tiny bit of fraying on it- but it has cleaned up now. Quite annoyed as the whole point of buying was so I didn't have to worry about gifts- no way would I give to my friend as is. So I will have to get something else to put inside as an extra. But that is a drawback of online shopping which I accept :)

Just took 2 lovely Champneys sets back to Boots near work - it's a small one that never has much Christmas stock, never mind sale stuff. They certainly won't have anything in the 75% off sale.

It was like the scene out of Ghost where Whoopi Goldberg has to hand the cheque over to the nuns - I knew they had to go back because I had too much stuff, but they were just SO PREEETYYY!

My family and OH think I'm mad. :rotfl:But at least I can now jusfify the bag I bought in the Monsoon sale....:D

I bet they are gone to someone else before I even left the shop....at least they will be loved and appreciated by someone else now! :T

Why don't you just return it? You can return sale stuff to store, especially if it is damaged/not what you expected.

It is only a tiny bit of damage and for £3 it's not worth the hassle right now, I've 2 hospital appointment next week alone, waiting for 3 more (expecting those to happen this month too) and already got the first one in for February lol! and just too much going on to worry about £3. And then I would have to find a whole other new gift. I can barely keep up with my normal errands right now without adding anything extra, when I can make do with what I have.

I'll just find something nice to put inside and enclose some tissue paper and sequins which I have already.
