Can you pay part points Part cash or does the total spend have to be paid fully with points
I know I've been turned down before
I think if like me you haven't got many points best to do several small transactions
    I have 3 advantage cards!
GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!

After all the hype, I'm not really all that bothered. I will pop in either this afternoon or tomorrow, but after all the faff last week and them not actually having that much good stock, I can't say I'm rushing out to grab stuff.
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions

Near me there are 2 retail parks both with a big Boots, only about 3 miles apart. Usually means i can do both and only be a bit late for work. I did a last minute "casing of the joint" yesterday evening before they shut, and picked the better stocked of the two to start at. Unfortunately it looks like I've picked the one that DIDN'T open early. :-( Theres only me here. Sat in car with flask of tea and bag of jelly babies. Need a wee but cant risk running up to Tesco incase they unlock when I've gone. AND I'm going to very late for work if I have to wait til 9am! :-(

Aww bless you, what store are you at? Do you want me to look up the opening times for you?
  • Was in my local boots last night and the place is heaving with stuff. 4 aisles full. Just heading there just now! Have never went before for the sale starting, hope it isn't as bad as people say with everyone pushing each other out the way!

Cheers FreddiesMum but its officially 9am - I've already looked, its just last year they opened at 8. Its Telford Wrekin store. SA said yesterday that they hadn't been told it was starting today but last Wednesday morning they had "loads" of people waiting outside who'd got the wrong week. On further questioning this was in fact 6! I'm just sat here thinking of the store down the road and the bargains no doubt already being snapped up there.

Ooo shutters have gone up and a SA has just clambered into the window to take the 50% signs down. Ooooo!!
  • Store opened at 8.00am - just got into work with my goodies.
Nice and civilised until the aisle blockers arrived.
