Yes they are reusable. I have had mine in car for past 6 weeks and still not getting any condensation . I leave it on the floor in the middle of rear seats. One side is plastic the other some sort of fibre. Weight is 1.15 kg when it is dry. I got two one to keep and other so the other one dries but its not been needed yet so I gave daughter it

You dry off near a radiator or heat source fire but not on top of it

    Air Dry
    Car dehumidifier
Made of environmentally friendly natural granulates.
    Mode of operation
The Air Dry extracts the moisture from the interior of your vehicle like a magnet. In doing so,
this prevents rust, mildew and mouldy stains as well as your electrics from being damaged. In
addition to this, Air Dry prevents disturbing odours and creates a pleasant climate in this
manner. The moisture is stored in the natural granulates of the bag from a relative air
humidity of approx. 60 % and is released again when the air is dry. Air Dry is odourless.
Extreme changes in the climatic atmosphere occur in your vehicle in a matter of minutes
through breathing, ventilating, heating, air conditioners and external conditions such as rain
and sunshine. The air moisture condenses on the cold window panes that is caused by the
differences in temperature between inside and outside. Air Dry reacts to this where it
continuously gathers excess water from the air. The window panes are clear after a short
period or will not steam up at all in the first place. Up to 600 g of water are equally absorbed
in this way. The working effect of the Air Dry is dependant on the relative air moisture,
temperature and size of the vehicle interior. Normally Air Dry is effective 2 – 4 months long
until it needs to be regenerated.
The bag of the Air Dry consists of a fleeces upper side that feels like it is moist and the lower
side which is made of foil that prevents moisture from being transferred to the bottom. Velcro
fixing stripes can be fixed to the bottom side. This enables the Air Dry to be positioned in
    numerous places.
    Instructions for use:
The Air Dry is activated by removing the outer foil bag. The Velcro fixing stripes are held on
fleece surfaces made of looped fibres that are usually found in most vehicles. Try out the
clinging characteristics in your vehicle and when suitable, glue the Velcro fixing stripes to the
lower side of the foil of the Air Dry. The glue bonds together with the Velcro fixing stripes to
the foil at best after approx. 24 hours at room temperature. The upper side of the fleece will
feel moist when the Air Dry absorbs the moisture. The saturation of maximum 1.6 kg is
    determined by weighing.
    Regeneration:
The Air Dry can be placed on a radiator for drying and then be reused. Air Dry releases its
moisture over a longer period that may take a few days or weeks depending on the saturation
and radiator. You should expect the Air Dry to weigh approx. 1.15 kg when it is dry. For this
purpose, we suggest that two Air Dry´s are used in exchange. For

  • My car used to "fog up" overnight, in cold weather, particularly the inside of the windscreen.
I bought 800g of silica gel granules which does seem to work well in absorbing any residual moisture in the cabin. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280780389042 When they all turn a dirty green just shove them, without the bag, into an oven at 110 degc until orange colour returns.
