I've been ill all week with this cold/flu thingy, its really nasty, gone sick which I feel bad about. Its been dragging on for about 5 weeks now, I called the Drs as I felt they needed an appointment, basically they fobbed me off telling me to drink lots of fluid and take paracetemol, vitamins etc. I'm hoping I'll be better for Monday to go back to work, but last night I reckon I had 3 hours sleep, cannot rest.
The good side is that I've lost 2 Ilbs, I thought it would have been more but I guess due to the fact I'm hardly eating the body is going into starvation mode..
Ive also had some other fortunate news from Santander. I used to have a cahoot account and I read on the debt forums about people claiming money back from Santander as they may have been naughty upping their charges.
Emailed before xmas, forgot about it and yesterday got a cheque through the post for £560.
So I was 17 stone, now 16 stone 12
Have been very fortunate to raise £1360 of £2000
I too am just getting over the same bug, you have my sympathies. Well done on the weightloss and moneysaving.:TTotal weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0 -
Well weighed in yesterday stayed the same. Less wine consumption is the order of the day. Got the free mag from Mr M's and they have lots of lovely recipes in it and a seven day meal planner of 1500 cals a day, might give it a go this week. highly recommend picking up a copy of it.
Money saving not going too well, few £2 coins saved and change saved from bank account to holiday fund, hope to do more once mega tax bill paid at end of the month. New years resolution to not use credit card going well tho I think that is due to being ill. First trip to town yesterday, took back some crap pressies from oh and exchanged them for socks and nighties (not sensible ones much to his delight;). Boden catalogue arrived, straight in the bin, so overall a good start, just need to get the weight moving.Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0 -
