Try Viking. They have a great range of mobile phones from Samsung to BlackBerry..Don't miss their vouchers...Good Luck!

Is this Viking Direct or another one? Went on to VDs website and they only had one mobile. Sorry if this sounds daft

  • CPW will only do a PAYG upgrade if you already have a PAYG sim that has been active for more than six months and if you have it in store with. If not, I'm afraid you're out of luck. I doubt you'll get a handset at PAYG prices if you're not an existing customer without the top up as the networks subsidise the price.
Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug). ;)
  • Carphone Warehouse have plenty of SIM FREE phones for sale.

I notice these people are now doing mobile phones which (I think) are sim free. Not many phones on there at the moment though.

I got a great Samsung E2121B phone from Carphone Warehouse. I think it cost me £4.95 (but I should get £5 cashback from Quidco) and was unlocked, but I had to buy £10 airtime credit.

If you really don't want to buy any airtime credit, you can buy the phone by itself for £25... but why would you want to?! Just get the SIM and airtime and sell it on eBay or give it to a friend.

    EDIT:
Just looked at the CPW and the phone is £9.95 if you also get £10 airtime credit.
  • Tesco sells the Samsung E1080i SIM-free for £9.97, no credit required. It's a basic phone, only supporting 2G and calls/texts, but might suit.
