Hello greedy Facef**kers!
Sorry, its still raw:rotfl:Yes, I can understand that given how things have evolved. Although I didn't feel a need to join I defended the actions of those who I thought were well intentioned. I even got PMs thanking me for that but now, with the benefit of hindsight and the lack of appearances of certain people, I'm not so sure that I should have given my support.:(
Oh my God, I actually feel sick, reading this
I'm guessing my absence is behind these posts (and others that I havent quoted). Now, before Christmas, I actually made a point of telling you all, that with OH being in Afghanistan over Christmas and New Year, I wasnt exactly 'feeling it', and that I was going to keep my misery to myself, and start posting again when it was all over.
Clearly this wasnt enough.
It has f*** all to do with facebook. In fact, isnt it funny, the only people mentioning the facebook group, are the ones that arent actually in it. So who's causing the problems here?????
To be honest, I'm finding life tough enough as it is, without the cr*p on here. There are a couple of people who are indeed lovely. There are others who should seriously look at themselves and see if they really are 'all that'. And thats not even aimed at the OP's above.
Good luck to you all,
(sunshine, your DD is absolutely gorgeous, be very proud x)0 -
Oh that bloody fishing trip, Bryn, when will it end?0

There was one of these in my store the other day (scanned at £13, had no SEL). What is the upscaling bit please? I didnt exactly know what it was, so I left it. Was that a mistake? Thanks IAMinnie-the-Minx wrote: »To be honest I don't know one end of a DVD player from another but I needed a new one and so got it anyway.
On the box it says 'Upscales standard DVD into 1080p' but I don't really know what that means
For £13 it is a cute little DVD player with a remote control so even if I can't see what the 'upscaling' has done I will be happy anyway.
It's actually quite good! I didn't know what the upscaling bit was either, but we needed a new DVD player and at £13 weren't gonna pass it up!But it makes your normal DVDs HD
You have to buy an HDMI cable seperatly though, which I didn't know at the time, but it still works without it, something else I didn' realise and that some lovely person pointed out to me on here:o
We got the other cable in Home Bargain for £2.99 and it really does make a difference, I was rather sceptical, but it does improve the quality
Oh, and morning all
Was meant to be going to T's this morning, but well all decided to have a lazy day in our jammies. OH got up with DD while I stayed in bed and had an extra couple of hours, then I got up and he went back to bed! Now DD is having her nap so we're having a late breakfast:rotfl: Bliss:D
Mr T, you can wait 'til tomorrow...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Just some info for people that don't know.
If you need to get a HDMI cable, you can sometimes get them for £1 on amazon or poundland, if not try not pay more than £3. And NEVER EVER get one from currys or pc world as they are £25+.
All HDMI cables work the same way i.e. Binary code, 0's and 1's therefore the cheapest one will work just as well as a £100 one.
HTH
Any footballers reading this here's one for you

Thank you Clipstrip and meerkat. OH was indeed away during the holidays, we get 2 weeks together during a 6 month tour, so hard enough, even without the time of year.
Thankfully you dont know the history behind these posts. Its a good thing, believe me. Just wanted to acknowledge your kind thoughts xx0 -
hiya Elite!
(didn't make it to say good morning as I had 12 pages to catch up LOL)
I'm excited as I'll visit mr T in a little bit(hope to get some whoopsies)... I haven't been there for a bit after the last row with a manager about fox's dtd  (I won in the end of course)
bf already asked if we're going to T today! :rotfl:
told him we are and he was like "ok, just let me know when you're ready":eek::eek: I seriously have no idea what's wrong with him?
but it might be useful as I want some cheap items to go through SS, some whoopsies with some luck and maybe a nice dtd too so I might need a little help
my third essey needs to get done today but I'm positive already as I've found lots about the subject thanks to google so will do a bit of 'copy-paste' later with writing a few odd sentences
gutted as I looked at the flights(for my exams later this month) last week and they were very cheap but wanted to tell my bosses first and of course the flights are now twice the price:(:( why oh why do I have to make the mistake EVERYTIME?
oh well, never mind...
hope everyone has a good day! :A0 -

Try not to take it to heart - many of us would not agree with such strong words and choose to ignore rather than argue. Sometimes I wish there was a button to disagree with a post
I understand that not everyone (myself included) is able, for whatever reason, to post all the time. I believe the frustrations were with the silence after offering to re-admit those who were kicked out...0 -
Hi everyone, hope all is well. Off out in a bit with DD and neice to the local outlets to let DD spend her xmas money in the sales. Didnt think Id get to Ts today but realised theres a Ts near the outlets that I havent been to and havent seen mentioned on here so may have to give it a go! Dont know if it has scanners as its not on the list but it would be rude not to give it a go. Have a great sunday xx:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0
