I know what you mean
Ex [STRIKE]decided[/STRIKE] dictated that we should have a 7 seater car for 5 people, 1 of whom was rarely in it (kid from 1st marriage). He bought a heap of junk from the auction which came complete with dings, scratches and even a broken wing mirror that wasn't listed on the auction details but he knew best. £500 and 4 new tyres later I'm driving an automatic (with flappy paddles should I feel the need to go into semi-automatic mode) with a fan belt that's about to snap and 3 windscreen wipers that need replacing seemingly only by the dealer as Halfrauds don't stock the ones my car needs. Oh and an mpg of around 25
How on earth do people prefer automatics to manuals. Unless it's the car I have, how do you do something so simple as just edge forward a bit without either taking off up the street or almost stalling? Give me clutch control any day. Anyone wanna buy my car :rotfl: But apart from that it's .... nah it's still a heap of
caz I'll swap you a Tesco first steps toddler garage for it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I know what you mean about only the dealers stocking the parts, my car's the same. Have had a few wingmirrors borken only to be told that was were I'd to go unless I could wait 2 weeks
The last one done the night my DH died, by some a$$ hole who'd decided that because he'd fallen out with his GF he'd take it out on everyone so damaged 10 cars, some gates and plants in our street. He's just lucky the cops got him before I did. Best about it was he done it while 2 cop cars and a forensics van were outside my house so didn't take them long to pick him up :rotfl:SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

Not complaining just to let others know
