Evening all, Not been able to get to my extra so nothing to report but do have a question, just been to my little local ts & managed to get a few whoopsies of sliced chicken & ham for sandwiches and was wondering if they can be frozen & if they can can I just defrost and put it straight into a sandwich? TIA
Ps they are in sealed packs

Thanks almost 4 months now, fed up of feeling carp, some days like today I can't do anything only had a bath & exhausted but happy in the knowledge blood test show nothing else its just rest & patience (which i don't have )

I used to open the pack, seperate them with a food bag between each slice. Put them all in a new bag to prevent freezer burn and then pull em out when needed. I would even put em in the sandwich still frozen as they were defrosted by the time came for opening the packed lunch.

I freeze them all the time. It's fine defrost in the fridge and use. I split the packs into smaller quantities before freezing if I know I'll only need a couple of slices at a time.
