Hi,
been 'lurking' on here for a while, waiting to pluck up the courage to try for a DTD
And just got my 1st DTD today !! on the chicken, also got the glitch on the mullers as well - very happy.
Would just like to say thank you to all you nutters on here as its cheered me up no end - having been made redundant just before xmass I've been really struggling big style.
and being a single bloke in the situation of having to choose heating or eating, and with a mortgage to pay 'every little helps' - you lot have really helped put a smile on my face again.
BTW the store was in South T3lf0rD - they also had lots of the telescopes, keyboards and guitars - but didn't check them as don't need them (and couldn't afford them) - and the scanner is in the next aisle ;-)
HTH
again a big thanks to you all - you really don't know how much this means to me *sobbing with joy*
Welcome grumpy67, what a lovely postWishing you lots of good luck and many more glitches & bargains

Thanks almost 4 months now, fed up of feeling carp, some days like today I can't do anything only had a bath & exhausted but happy in the knowledge blood test show nothing else its just rest & patience (which i don't have )
I know how frustating it is. I've been like this for five years now. I would love some energy, don't rush things or try to do too much each day and you will actually recover quicker.
Unfortunately I never took time to recover properly after being ill and ended with a long term illness. Just rest and let your body heal naturally.0 -

Fudge_Cake wrote: »As far as lurkers go, yes I find it a real shame that there are many out there that don't thank the OP's of some amazing deals they take advantage of and don't post their own finds. However as far as how much to take of each find, I sometimes find that's a very hard call to make. I'm not in a bad position financially so I would never take anything I didn't need or want just because it's 1p/4p etc etc but who's to say the next person that comes along isn't the richest person in town that gets their jollies having a housefull of things they'll never use. Then with dtd you know that 99% of the time the SEL will be removed from the shelf, thereby nobody else would be able to get it, so in those cases do you fill your boots or just take 1? I always try and be fair and like many others on here I like to let people in on a deal or glitch if I see someone I know or someone looking at, for example OEP. Then my favourite thing to do is to bag up my bargains and spread them between family and friends +/- homeless shelters. (when appropriate) Sites like these are only helpful when people are generous with their time and knowledge, which is why I love the Elite so much! to us! :T:T:T
Wise words, Fudge-Cake.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
