    edited 5 January 2012 at 1:11PM
Muller 2 different discounts is working in N3wt0wnbr3da extra. Got £4.60 (+pennies but not sure how many) off when bought 12 of the biscuit type ones. Thanks so much OP for this we get through a few of these at lunch time.
Could have got more but done that when Asda had their glitch on them and ended up having to give half away

Also found the cheeky monkey car signs for 1p, sorry picked the only 5 there for little mothers day packs our Mum's and tots kids make each year so will save us a bit of cash.
    SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
    SPC 2014 £1100:D

Sorry to be lazy and not check back but is it any of the crunch corners that work? I've heard digestive and hoops being mentioned but I wouldn't normally eat these so have no idea but might be nice for the DS.

I bought the banana yoghurt with the choc covered cornflakes and it worked for them.
  • Happy new year everyone.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread since Xmas so apologies if this has been posted..

Saw a sel for Thorntons Premium collection chocs, 75p for 98g rtc yesterday, but there were none left. Instead, today I saw the 86g bags (not box) with no sel and they are scanning at 49p!!! They have the dark red and brown packinging and the b/c is 0350. B/b date end of May. Bought in an extra.

    I can't post a picture as I'm in the T car park.

Anyway, my finds today included ... 2 (overpriced according to HDUK) Gym Balls @ 50p each :(, a battered Toy Story Parachute @ 50p and a bag of Cadburys Dead Heads 1p ... and 6 Andrex "On the Go" rolls

My it's windy! Just had a big gust and plaster dust started flying! Better get between my duvets :D

Has anyone tried inflating one of these Gym Balls? There's no instructions ... just 3 bits of plastic (2 'plugs' and something I imagine needs to be inserted into the ball itself). Anyway I've got the car's foot pump out but for the life of me I can't work out what I should be doing

I have the letter in my hand for DS, I just want to steam it open;);)But I won't. It feels like more than one sheet of paper hope that's a good sign:T

That does sound promising doesn't it. I really hope it's the news he has been waiting for. I bet your stomach is churning, I know mine would. Will be having a sneaky peek on here around 4pm later give time for the news to settle and hope you can post as think I'm feeling nervous on your behalf too. :o

On another note it's DD2s A level presentation evening tonight. So looking forward to that. :)

Just had to post this DD2 just walked in the room and I told her letter had arrived for your DS from Cambridge, she said her friends that went to Oxford had to wait for a letter too. I told her you thought it was more than one sheet and she said "What are mums like...you must feel and even sniff the letters to see if they smell of success and why don't we just let them live their lives!" :o:o She was laughing, she thinks it's funny that I have my cyber friends.

And I forgot to say other day she said I would be proud of her as she had bought sausages for 20p at whoopsie time in Ms, she was out with her friends for the evening and they popped in for drink etc. Ah she does take after me after all. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:And yes another thing to be proud of. :D

Think I read somewhere that's how to do it, probably read it wrong tho :o

When I do mine I usually if I'm a doing a stew or casserole seal the meat quickly first just for a few minutes in my wok. Then veggies or onions in first and meat on top. Then I top it right up with water or stock. Don't know if sealing it makes any difference but I always do, and it comes out lovely and tender. I usually have mine on for 8-9 hours. It's trial and error as to what you like but to be honest you can't go far wrong. And don't forget they're great for chilli as well. Just chuck it all in and it's ready when you get home. I also use mine to make chicken stock. Just bung the carcass in, cover with water and leave for about 6 hours. Then run it through the sieve and freeze it:)And boiling bacon I use it for, blimey I'm making myself hungry now;)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

    Remember the D word!

I use a pressure cooker for stews. 25-35 mins - job done and the meat is really tender.:)
