OH has just nipped out of the office so chance to have a quick catch up, nipped out earlier and got the 1p Smints, 1p fly strip thingies,car smilie fresheners 50p and 1p jar openers(Sitting here trying to get a smint out, think ones got stuck in the top of the dispenser! Scanned the Neutrodol car fresheners that were 50p for ages and they're £2.50 now:eek::eek::eek::eek:Feel another trip for whoopsies may be needed tonight;)

Hope you have better luck than me whoopsieing last night. I guess I can't complain usually do so well but you know what it's like when you really want something. If I had gone home with 2 bottles of cider for 60p with some cheese and crackers thrown in OH would have been very happy. But not to be.

Anymore interviews coming up for your DS nikki? Any news on Cambridge yet? Don't think I managed to keep up with all the goings on over last couple of weeks. Though maybe that's a good thing.

And good luck with the diet, I have not put on any pounds over christmas so pleased with that, probably helped by losing a couple beforehand. Not going to try again until the stress of getting DDs 1 and 2 back to uni are over, so mine will start next Monday.

Forgot to tell you the funniest thing I come across this morning.

Found loads of 1p items during my big shop which I would normally put through self serve but thought I would try my luck at the tills.
The lady who served me starting putting my 1p items through the till and my heart was in my mouth, praying. (I really dont know why its not as if we NEED iron pads):D.
anyways - she stops at the 5th packet of 1p sweetners, scans them, looks at them and then .... Gets her shopping list out and writes the sweetners on there. and says to me - "Good Find"

what are iron pads, surely that would cause thrush , and be very cold
