So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

    Afternoon all

Congratulations to Sunshine on the birth of Phoebe. Hugs to you both.

I know you will all understand my little tale. I was so sad to miss out on a bargain yesterday. Had my eyes on one those cider gift sets for OH. The ones reduced to £6, there were loads in one of my locals with yesterdays dates and I thought £3 would be a good price to pay so popped there in middle of day and they had all been reduced to £4.55 so decided to go back later. Aimed to get there for about 6.30 but think was a bit later than this and none to be seen so I guessed others had thought £3 was a good price too as all other whoopsies 75% off. I have full freezer so was going to walk off but young lad came out to further reduce all the xmas party food to 95% off so hung around. Got some Finest belly pork pieces 20p, and as someone else was taking some they said not as good offfer as the cider to their OH. I mentioned I had popped in at the hope of getting some and she had 2 in her trolley apparently picked up 10 minutes earlier at the pricely some of 60p each.:eek: I never in a million years imagined they would go down this cheap and so early too and was well and truly gutted at not even getting one. :(:(:(

Back to business as usual, no black Smints that I could see locally, got some Oust pads and there were some left. And still 1p Spicy Dormans, I already have enough of these.

And for the list Tinyshoes, over 40 and under 50 ;), Dorset

Went on a bargain hunt to T's this morning for the first time in ages. Found some of the cars and princess bubbles in the soft drinks aisle (thought those were long gone so have tucked them away for the kids' stockings next Christmas.

Found one lonely spontex eraser. Normally think those things are a bit gimicky but will test it out at 1p!

Got a pack of 30 Christmas cards. All reduced to 88p so have learnt my lesson after buying some last week for £1.76ish!

Not Tesco related but there is loads left in the half price sale in Boots today - am I right in thinking they go to a 75% off sale? Got a couple of birthdays coming up.

Thanks for the info Westvleteren - might have to start wombling in As as I'm fed up with trouts in Ts! I wombled 2 receipts the other day and both came back at under £1 but I will not feel ashamed when I use them. In fact, I might womble some more then take them all to the SS tills with the same TIT as yesterday and put my items through 1 at a time with a JTD to pay for it and see how much that pi$$es them off :D

P.S. Who is percy65 that does the quiz and how the hell do you answer 10 questions correctly in an average of 30 seconds the last 2 days? Own up, who are you!!!

I take it 10 syns is bad? When I was getting married, my diet for lunch consisted of tortillas filled with chicken, salsa from M&S (the fresh one in the chillers nom nom), mixed leaves and maybe a tiny bit of grated cheese. One wrap filled me the whole afternoon and I lost a fair bit of weight. Mind you I've lost a lot more since albeit dead weight ;)

hiya...just a thought but what about asking ToNik or Wirehair to copy it to one of their first posts on the first page....? Although probably not a good idea thinking about it as they would have to update it then!!

But forthe next thread...we could have the list on the first page!! ;)

I thought that when it was first started . It would be good at the begining of the next thread . Although whoever starts the next thread will have to update it . There should not be too many updates though .:)

I'd like to be the one to update it since I started it, so maybe someone can PM me when they're starting the new thread and I'll post it there :)
