Not YetI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I feel guilty now I only have £13 worth of CC vouchers (however I have only just recently started collecting)
Thats okay you can pay me back "in kind" oh I have an unopened packet of Freaky Fingers to tempt you with as well0 -
I have just realised , my sister bought me one of those big boxes of Thorntons chocolates with the £5 voucher in for Christmas.
It came with 54 chocolates in it.
There are 8 left.
I live on my own.
Who has stolen my chocolates???
Funny you mention that. I also had a box and it's now empty
Hmmmm, very strangeThere's no place like home

queen_of_cheap wrote: »pole dancingAh nuff said, must be very athletic to do that
I know people don't appreciate it as a form of exercise but it must take a lot of strength and skill!queen_of_cheap wrote: »A lot of skin too!
10 years ago i would have said maybe athletic, but now i would probably just say deluded! It didnt stop me buying a pole to use at home but cracking a rib did!
It is fantastic exercise. It works your core like nothing else
I knew you were going to say pole as soon as I read about the bruises, I can totally relate as I've been doing it for 3 1/2 years now, poor OH illusions have totally been shattered with some of the corkers I come home sporting.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

That's really terrible of them, hope you get some luck from HO.
I'm sure I've seen assignment to mystery shop them, so they probably do have reports send it on them. Although the 1st rule is secret shopping is never to let on what you are doing
I've never been a mystery shopper in my life, just read a few bits about it years ago, My mouth just went in gear before my brain:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Because you thought you were the Nan in the Bisto advert being taken out of the room and shouts "He's not your father"
Flippin' 'eck & I thought Tescos took the mickey ! Surely they must have a contract with you as they accepted your payment, gave you a collection date originally & agreed to get you one for that price.
HO were really good and are investigating and have taken a full report down. I think I did the right thing by not accepting the refund because the minute I did that I wouldnt have had a leg to stand on. The thing HO really seemed annoyed about was that the main manger wouldnt speak to me as I was told "He doesnt speak to customers" and that the first time I went to collect it on Friday I was told that it was a mistake by head office. I think if the secret shopper thing gets mentioned I'm going to have to say I said something along the lines of "It's a good job I'm not a secret shopper";);):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Right back to catching up I'm on page 275!!Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Still got 36 pages to catch up on!! Went to collect the laptop again from CO*ET today, just knew I'd get fobbed off again. and I did!! They blamed the suppliers today and after an hour of standing in there like a total idiot and getting more and more wound up, they offered a £50 discount on another one. Meaning that they'd give me one for £449 for £399. The one I ordered should have been £899 and was reduced to £399 so their's just no comparision. I realised after an hour I was just going to get nowhere and OH was starting to go a bit red in the face, so I told them to poke their laptop offer and their refund, in a very polite way I will add. I told them I'd take it up with HO but my parting shot as I was so fed up with staying calm was "By the way I'm also a secret shopper so as well as phoning HO I'll be making a full report" My OH was in hysterics, !!!!!! Why did I say it???:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
fair play to you i reckon, i would have said something similar

Well I made a block of butter yippee!! Was a lot messier than I thought it would be but very easy. The only mistake I've made is not adding enough salt, it doesn't have much taste but I guess I can add more
Thank you to everyone who's posted butter making tips, hopefully I can get it perfect and save myself a fortune!
