    So have I!!
I always used to have a real tree, but a garden centre place was changing hands a couple of years ago and they sold off all the old stock at stupid prices. I got the tree for a couple of quid reduced from £80 and all the lovely sequinned decorations etc. for 20p each reduced from around £4!!!
I've just added a few chains and gold balls which I've picked up cheap here and there.

When the kids were small we used to make tree decorations out of salt dough then bake and paint them. We had sheep with wool made from dough squeezed through a garlic press, snowmen and Xmas trees. To be honest these were the nicest trees we ever had.

Ahh, mines all away again now. A savvy tree too. Got delviered by next in july??? A luxury one at a whopping £80. Was on doorstep when i got home. No one ever claimed it. Or should that be them, i was left two. Meant to put one on ebay but forgot!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Fudge_Cake - loving your 2 little babies and pmsl at Kadison's description 'like clouds with legs' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: We used to have a black miniature poodle when I was growning up - I'd pestered parents for ages for a dog, even used to take my cat and then the rabbit out for walks on leads, so they eventually gave in but had to choose carefully as Mam had very bad asthma, so poodle was ideal as no moulting. Do you always keep them in the 'puppy cut', they are gorgeous bundles of fluff

Spirallingdown - lovely to see pics of Harvey in the dog pound and then so happy with new friend Ruby - they do settle in well don't they - dogs tend to adjust to our lives. Hope you'll soon be settled enough to have them home with you in your own place :)

Aww thanks 3Dogs :D They are very much clouds with legs! Like Dancecrazylegs said earlier, everyone says 'Aww they're like little lambs!' :p Oh I love love love black poodles, it was either white or black and I went with white because she's so tiny (And I'm so tiny too!:rotfl:) They're brilliant dogs, completely different characters too and yep poodles are fab for any allergy sufferers :T Yep they're always in the 'puppy cut' and I think they still look like puppies even though they're 5 now!

I completely agree with your comments above for Spiralingdown too:D

Yes please!!! My youngests name is Disney - we are a family of Disney nuts lol!! So naturally with a name like that she loves anything to do with Mickey and Minnie mouse! Part of my motivation to improve finances etc is that I would love to go to Florida at the end of 2013 to take her to meet them! Whether it happens or not I dont know, but it is giving me the push I need to sort our finances out and get debts paid off!

a dry dish sponge will clean the sofa up like a dream, hardly any effort and an excellent result. I have 2 long hair black cats and 2 pale yellow sofas (they were free so i didn't choose the colour)

Hi, can anyone tell me how long the buttermilk keeps? I used some in my scones which were yummy with the homemade butter, had some in horlicks last night and with cereal & honey this morning. Does it freeze? There's still quite a bit left and I woul hate to waste it. Thanks IA
