We are many we are one xxx

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

I got a HUGE turkey for £5 reduced from £28 at 6.50pm. It is now making the house smell fab!

It will be stretched into making a mammoth selection of meals. One of which will be a meal in which I can use my gift of suet. :) Cant wait...

Milk freezes really well so why not buttercream?
My buttercream still smells fresh. I reckon you are good for at least 3 days.

I bet your scones were lush!

Aren't we all a savvy bunch

Scones were lush and the smell when they were cooking was wonderful. Probaby shouldn't have eaten 3!

Will freeze half then, at worst I could put it in mashed potatoes. I hate wasting anything that's edible!

    Thanks for reply,.

    Nope :(

But saying that, some have done so successfully. HC was one I think who reported success.

Speaking of HC, I always imagine he would look like one of the two guys in the top right corner of this screen who run the mse forum..

Good luck with giving up smoking.

Did the butter making go ok, and taste nice?

Brill! Sent another 10 packs to some neighbours who are angels and always making and baking.

The kids have had some banana milkshakes with whoopsied bananas 5p for 8, and the buttermilk, they all loved it! Keeping some back for lasagne sauce tomorrow. Another savvy meal coming up.

Like someone else said though, its a 20 min drive to my local so really has to be worth it for thw whoopsies. At least when we move the ts will be a lot closer:j

Most of it in my mr t was 40 to 50 p and a big sign saying 3 for 2 still applicable so better buy!

Thanks! Didn't go in T's today so didn't know they had gone down in price again. Our local didn't have much left over the weekend that I would have wanted to buy (am fussy!!):o.
Will take a second look tomorrow!

Blimey girl. It sounds like your kitchen was a production line too!

I hope all these meal ideas are inspiring others...

I used to love the OS thread but I love it when this one has elements of it as well
