Delighted to fid some cadbury's koko truffles this morning (even though I am sick of chocolate at the moment).

They have a good date on them and are still scanning at £1.01.

Still best to check first if you can though as I tried one store and they went through at £2 even though the store 2m down the road had sold them at £1.01

Hey Blondie - Happy New Year!! Did you have a nice few days away? Will have to catch up in the New Year though one of my resolutions is to try to break my Tesco habit and limit myself to 1 a week (unless there is a glitch of course!)

If anyone wants cream to make their own butter Sandhur$t The Mead0ws should have lots later. There was about 200 pots in the reduced section just now, but still only half price or more.

I didn't find much else there, some whoopsied half price haddock goujons, and 5 rolls of andrex on the go. They did have 1p descaler tabs and OOD 1p veggie crisps, but I didn't bother to get them; plus loads of 41p caramellised cashews.

Energizer 2032 batteries 35p at Ts petrol stations.

OH went this morning and got some SEL said 35p but they scanned through at £6.90 for 2 packs, so SA overrode till to reduced price. Not sure whether petrol stations do DTD.
    ....

Petrol stations are included in DTD, there is usually a sticky notice on the door. DTD has to be processed in the main store. Of course if the operator corrects the price before paying there is no DTD, but may be worth another visit later in the day if the SEL was left up.

If you can't get any reduced cream, get some whoopsied butter, warm and mix with some buttermilk. Then you will have your cream to.. make... err.... your....... butter.

    Hmmm, scrub that.
