Talk of luxury hotels & steam rooms, yummy porridge I'm getting very jealous, I never make porridge but always have it in the all you can eat breakfast buffets, in fact not much I don't have :o

hehehehe, we stayed at a travelodge last year in stratford on avon (cheap deal obviously lol) and had the breakfast....was an all you can eat job. I had a full english and kept going back with a slice of bread for a couple of rashers of bacon and a pouch of brown sauce! Had about 5 of those I think. Couldn't eat a darn thing till about 8pm after that! :rotfl:

That reminds me ... I have a couple of 'free' swims courtesy of Schweppes Abbey Well that have to be used before the end of the month. The participating pools are typically municpal pools but also include some hotels which have the usual saunas and steam rooms ... so I'm hoping I can find a couple of 'posh' places and have free spa day ;)

I found this offer on the main board before I found this thread but you never know there maybe some more bottles out there lurking on shelves. If my memory serves me right the bottle was about 50p.

If I can find the cable I'll upload a picture of the bottle later but for those who are interested you're looking for ...

Schweppes Abbey Well - Natural Mineral Water Still - 750ml (b/c 3630) - the label has a white Olympic logo at the top and the words "Free swim with every bottle".

Anyway the details can be found at: www.schwimfree.co.uk

I'm wondering when David Lloyd are doing their next 8 day trial thing they do now and again.

    Happy New Year everyone!

I've had less time to get on here over the holidays so have had to skip lots of pages :(

JJ - love the pics of your home-made butter - will definitely give that a try next time I see some reduced cream!

Loving all the pets pics, will try to add one of my two in a mo, meanwhile here's a pic I took in Morrisons a couple of days ago - Baby Annabell reduced to £14.98 - thought it might be of interest to those who were looking out for cheap Baby Annabells before Christmas....

Delighted to find some cadbury's koko truffles this morning (even though I am sick of chocolate at the moment).

They have a good date on them and are still scanning at £1.01.
