I agree with you but everyone turns up on my birthday and says things like "I haven't got paid yet", "I spent too much on Christmas but will buy you something later" etc. I am waiting for birthday presents from years ago! Anyway, I am old enough to just put up with it! But it's not fair if you are a child.
My DS birthday was yesterday new years eve, but I make sure Xmas decs are down and birthday decs are up so it feels different for him and then get to celebrate his bday and the new year and he will always have seperate presents from friends and family xTake care of the pence and the pounds will take care of themselvesSealed Pot Challenge No.1902 - Target £250 :cool2:0 -

My DSs due date was NYE. I was hoping that he would be born on that date too as we would have a birthday party for him rather than a NYE party. Unfortunately he came earlier than expected but still nice to have a birthday around Christmas time as there is so much to do and the general atmostphere at this time of year is always really upbeat. The only down side is that we have to book venues etc. well in advance. Last year we did a ski party and that went down really well (ski lesson etc. at a local ski centre with fun in the snow etc.).Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

Oh, forgot to say, happy birthday to your DS. Hope you all had a fantastic day celebrating.
When your DS gets older (not sure how old they are at the mo.) they will be able to ask for money and have a good old spending spree in the salesAvatar courtesey of HC :beer:0
